Default Will Venus pull out of mixed doubles?

I just can't see that Venus would want to hang around England after that horrible loss today. I wonder if Venus will dump Bob Bryan and just pull out of the mixed doubles event and return to America?

I hope not. I'm really loving the Bryans blogs -- hope they stick around for the duration, and have lots to report on. All their other friends are going home.

It's hard to say, but she does enjoy herself when she plays mixed..

It doesn't seem right for Venus to play mixed doubles soley. She is always expected to be in the 2nd week. She should've won today. A little bad luck today and a left wrist injury. I'm sure she'll stick around. It can only help her singles get more consistent.

If i was Bob, dont think id ever play again if she pulled something that low...
I mean if they win at least they get to pick up some lose change....
What is the prizemoney for mixed anyway?

Just checked... its 90,000 pounds...
or $166,383.20 US... not bad...

And Bob says they need the extra money from mixed doubles to help pay the rent on their Wimbledon rental.

Oh and i just read on the Bryan Brothers blog...
Bob and Venus have known each other since they were kids...
so i doubt very much that she'd pull out on him...
