Default Hip forward on open stance

So any of you guys and galls throw your hip forward just before impact when you use an open stance? For me it seems to make me able to control the ball alot better while putting a little extra power in it..

Am I the only one? aNd is this wrong (aka, main cause some problems for my body?)

I would have to see what your talking about to comment. But getting your hips in the shot generally is a good thing.

Thanks Bill, I don't have a camera with me so I can't record it, but when I get my hands on one ill post a videos. But basically, at the moment of contact, my hips are about 2 centimeters forward more than my chest.

I'm not putting my body back to hit the ball late, I still hit it well in front.
