Default Hope Safin wins

I hope Safin will win in Washington. I'd like to see him get a title and get confident so he can beat Federer if he runs into him at the USO.

No way, CLEMENT is going to take this one, first Nadal, now today, he's a giant killer and Safin is next on his list

I hope he wins as well but since hes so inconsistant who knows. But if he does win he will finally get some confidance back and be a big threat at US open.

Safin V Murray will be a very nice final indeed.

Then again so would Safin V Tursunov, a battle of the big hitting Russians who are friends on and off court.

Going to be a interesting weekend.

Marat is a fan heartbreaker. At the same time, his run at AO to the title is unforgettable.

Agreed!
Though no coverage here....
Still, I hope Safin wins and starts a nice run at the US-hardcourts + his favorite indoors MS

Yep very good point.

He loves the indoor Masters Series events, especially if Federer and Nadal don't show up to conserve energy for the Masters Cup, then we could see Marat dominating like he did in 2004.

like i said in another thread...if safin can continue his randomness...i'd really like to see him win the US open. your average joe doesnt beat both federer and sampras in GS finals.
