Having one deleted wasn't enough for you, Superduy?

Come back, Bungalo Bill.

Why was the last one deleted? A request by BB himself? Excess trolling by you-know-who? None of the above?

Who is Vic Braden, you ask?

While I do not recall making the post above, at all. I would assume I made it being sarcastic.

Maybe so, but he helped a great many ppl on these boards and put a good deal of considered effort into his posts. 'tis a shame if you could not appreciate that.

I very much appreciated his contribution, but it seems like almost every thread he was involved in ended up with a punch-up. Now this could possibly have been at the instigation of other contributors, but if you're getting into a scrap every time you leave the house, it's reasonable to conclude that the issue is you.

The guy was super-insightful, but even his issues had issues. Having said that, it would be great to see him back

as you mentioned in one of your posts about sometimes feeling you talk to the wall trying to help ,taking the time and it lands on unappreciated ears. maybe BB felt that way too. i know i learned alot from him.

I liked BB but he melted down way too easily. Many times over misunderstandings. Maybe he has some stuff going on at home so you can't be too critical.

He did go too far at times and I called him on it more than once (especially when it seemed unprovoked or escalatory). Some heated exchanges probably should have been deleted or edited and warnings issued by the monitors but I do not believe that a banning was warranted.

Despite the flaws, his contributions were unsurpassed on these forum pages.

Hope he moved back to KeiIki St., LogCabins, NorthShoreOahu, and is surfing Pipe like his avatar suggests.
But reality says he never really surfed Pipe, and stayed at the lesser breaks.
I was living on KeiIki St. around the same time as him, knew some shapers around his house, but I surfed Pipe almost every day it broke big, and alternated with Sunset if the crowds looked intimidating in the mornings.
People lived on the NorthShore for different reasons.

Big difference is that I"m NOT a student of the game, I DO the game.
Same in surfing, I never studied surfing, I surfed.
In every sport, and I have some of the most extensive practical experience there, there are different paths to the top levels. All are valid, if they work.
Every rising player needs DIFFERENT stimuli, advice, envirorment, style.
There is NO mold that we should drive down someone's throat.
Basketball, baseball, football, pingpong, fencing, motocross, roadracing, surfing, waterskiing jumping, bumpskiing, snowboarding, kiteboarding, windsurfing, tennis....... all at about the same level, just barely peaking into the highest level.
