I want power without risking too much control. feel free to suggest a different racquet not from the list. Ive been using wilson for the past year coming from head, I would like to try babolat but I am most familiar with wilson. I demo'd my local pro's npro racquets, they all feel about the same and I like it, but it just doesnt hit the spot like it should. maybe if I changed up the stringing it would help. discuss.

Dunlop mfil 200.

Ive played with the first two racquets, and this gives me a much more of a powerful/heavy shot with superior control.

I was just considering this racquet, well actually the mfil 300 because of its price, popularity, and the 200's 11.5 oz strung weight is perfect. Im still looking though, thanks for the suggestion.

the dunlop mfil 200 2006 is a wonderful racquet, but the accolades i was singing were actually pertaining to the regular dunlop mfil 200 (12.1 oz version). Regardless the 2006 version is still great!

Ohh roger that! I like the m-fil 200's but the m-fil 300 thread has me more convinced on that stick, only because its lighter and allows me to customize it more. Also, how does the 16x19 sting bed feel? I use hybrid setups myself, usually 16x18 or 18x20. What setups would you suggest?

Well...in my dunlop mfil 200 i use a soft multi at 60 pds. This works great for comfort on my elbow, and at the same time gives me surgical control, and manageable power. Right now im doing a one piece job because im learning to string my own racquets, but in a two piece, i like using babolat babolat hurricane 17 and prince premier 17....61 mains, 59 crossses.

As for the 16x19 pattern, i really like it, pretty easy to spin with and the control is really up there, but 18x20 has always been my strong suit since i mostly hit hard flat with a moderate amount of spin....gives me the most control and confidense.

srs? the apd and the n61 tour 90 now those couldnt be more different u should try the n61 95. according to stats its kinda similar to the mfil200 both 05 and 06 models

I played older Wilson racquets and liked them. So when I got money for a pro-level racquet I figured I would get another Wilson.

Everyone I demoed didn't seem to make me any better. Some even hurt my shoulder.

Then on a whim and after watching a Rafa match I demoed the Aeropro Drive. I immediately noticed more topspin. I believe that it is the whole point behind the shape of the frame and it feels like it is rising up when you swing. Now if I start low, it just wants to flow up a little bit easier than normal.

That is the biggest difference for me and it made me better.

I got more power in my flat serve too! I lost a little touch on my volleys but now I just have learned to use more touch.

i would go for the dunlop either 200 or 300. the problem i see with lots of babolat tennis is that they have terrible strokes but get away with it. this ends up giving them arm problems in the long run. also almos every player i know using babolot has wrist problems i was wondering if anyone else has had heard similar problems.
