Default RDX MID (93) vs MP (98)

What would you guys suggest? I getting a really good deal on MP but always play with smaller head sizes. Would MP be too big for me?

From seeing the rackets you have used in the past, I think the RDX 93sqin is right up your alley.

You may want to try hitting with the MP (or both) before you decide. People here have said the two are somewhat different; some have said they feel quite different.

I know that would be a solution. If I could playtest them I wouldn't be here. I would write then: "Just playtested RDX 500 Mid. Huge sweetspot, don't need anything bigger for this kind of sweet and buttery racquet, blah, blah, blah."

But I'm offered MP and normally 98sq head is fine (my upper limit, read Radical MP), but on Yonex sweetspot is supposedly much bigger than other player's frames due to it's unique head shape.

I found the Mid to be so much better than the MP that I thought they shouldn't even share the same model name.

I find them both to be quite excellent racquets.

My vote would be to the mid (90 sq. in.).

Both have big sweetspots.

The MP is a little more manuevreable with uber spin potential (almost wild spin). More power than the mid too. Since there's more power with this racquet, you can string this one with a lower powered string.

Mid lets you drive the ball more (but you can still get solid spin) and a lot better control. But then less overall power with the mid. In fact it is very low powered. Recommend a high powered multifilament. My serves are weaksauce with this racquet.

Hmm... maybe I shoulda got the MP?

Well, I'm too used to the Mid now to switch to anything else...

That's what I thought .... I think I should be getting a Mid, I guess. 98 sq inch is just too big ...

Yes, if you other regular racquets are the LM Prestige Mid, PS 6.0 85, and the nSix-One Tour, then you should definitely get the RDX Mid.

Agree w/BP...love the mid (used it for a couple of years)...MP never did anything for me. But have to say that others seem to like it a lot, so YMMV.

I tried both and prefered the Mid (90), as the MP just wasn't predictable enough or that stable. Interestingly I tried the MPHD and prefered that to both!

Yeah, I wish RDS001 was in some nicer color. Yellow just sucks

Why milo? You play with 90sq inch racquets.

Ok, this is what I think, normally, works. If you like to hit with tons of spin, go for the MP. If you like to hit with little spin, go for the Mid... If you're somewhere in between, try them out and decide.
