best extended length racquet

Hey!

What extended length racquet has the best combination of feel, power, spin and control. I like a heavier racquet so i am primarily looking at the pure control team plus. I am also looking at making a 28in vantage. WHich of those two has the best feel, power, spin and control combi. I am also open to any other suggestiongs. I prefer if it is 27.5 or above, and the longer the better, unless the longer racquet is not a good one for my criteria.

Thanks

PS: Does the woofer system work?

The woofer system does work, but some people feel that it is too noticable, adds too much power, so they dont like it. Personally, i love the pure drive plus, and the new roddick spec is a heavier version of that. Its worth a demo if this is the kind of frame you like. The POG longbody is also a solid choice, but i found that it was manuverable enough for me, despite its very headlight balance.

so you guys recomend the 100% graphite racquets over the pure control plus with the woffer system?

Personaly, I don't like any Babolats (no feel and too stiff), but If I HAD to go with one, I would pick the APD. As for 100% graphite racquets, I think that you'll get the best feel, control, and spin potential out of these.

As I said before, the POG longbody is a great racquet (though I don't use i - use standard length racquet, can't stand the extra length:-D ). The Wilson Pro Staff Classic 6.1 Stretch mentioned by warreng is also a good racquet.

I think that you should try to get your hands on these racquets and try them out before buying one (it's is very hard to though, because you can't demo any of these and the Pro Staff Stretch isn't even on TW).

I have honestly never heard of a Prince O3 white extended version! Sorry!:D

But if you are trying to get a nice Long Body racquet, I think that you should try out the POG longbody. It's got that good, solid graphite feel that I think you may like.

Or, you could buy the Prince Shark LongBody. Its specs are REALLY similar to the O3 whites and I think that this might just be what you are looking for. :-D

Hope this helps

The POG LB is a very nice feeling racquet, very flexy and very headlight but yet not so manouverable IMO. The PS 6.1 classic stretch is one fearsome racquet. Very high SW so if you are strong enough and good enough that should be your choice I feel. The earlier babolats pure control longbodies were similar to the PS. A very solid 27.5 inch frame is the PK 7g. Very stable good allround racquet.
Babolat Pure drive roddick plus is also a great racquet but not as stable as the others, but with more power IMO.

Hey! Rafa's best friend!!!!!!!! I think I found the racquet you were looking for!!

Is this it?

I live in Chicago, IL, USA, That is the one i am talking about. Man, there sure are a lot more models in O3 line than here in the USA, i think you Janpanes get all the good rackets. Also for good extended rackets, Dunlop is coming out with Aerogel 400 which comes in extralength and is supposed to be great frame, go to the Aerogel thread and they will point you to the website. Also i am hoping Head metallix 6 will come in midsize version at extralong length as well.

sorry man, i can't get it for you, racquets cost an arm and a leg in japan and i don't want to get one and find out you're not gonna pay for it. even if you assure me....

Pure Control +: Even more powerful than Pure Drive standard because of weight. No control whatsover.
POG Longbody: You need to provide your own power or the balls aren't going to land deep enough, making it not effective. It has the most control of anly LB I have ever played with.
