Ahh, im bad with details, it must of cost $5000. The first digital stringer i ever used, was really nice. Were you turning in non 20 sheets? I wanted a little money for the weekend once and turned one in with like 15, they didnt like it.
I'll get his information, last i heard he is selling insurance like his dad. Said he makes a lot more money than teaching. Will tell him you said hello and miss his car that used rope to keep the battery from falling off
2 games is very impressive, he applied constant pressure. You dont realize how strong he is until you play points. He was still taking college fsu guys a few years ago at the citrus bowl. They were hitting massive kick serves, he had to use the slice forehand return. It killed them
Great guy, great player and now i think he is running country club of orlando. He is also one of the best instructors ive seen, treats people different based on their skills. Really understands the game as top player and pro.
I only went out to sable for a few tournaments. One of my highlights though happened there. I got invited to a money round robin, everyone throws in 20, winner keeps it all. I had no chance of winning but it was like a bunch of $20 lessons. I was able to take a game off Tobias (has a win over becker in doubles), he was so freaking good, still is (bad elbow last i saw him). I only met tony a few times, but he was like tournament director so dont know him at all, but seemed like a nice guy.
You may remember Wayne (white south african from lake cane). He started teaching at sable for a while. Lots of great people back then, maybe time to head over to Lake cane again
Did you ever meet Scott? His sister was the blonde from the zztop video's, married jeff cohen. Another one of my best buds.
