Back in Dec 1992 I was given a prototype Prestige Tour 600. It was painted black and all it had written on it on one side of the shaft was TEST 600 in that Star Trek the next generation font in gold.

Very interesting. going to have to string them up and take at least 1 for a spin...

Potentially one of the rarest specimen of prestige mid. painted similar blue to the pt630

Would love to know who they were made for

Great racquets! Never seen in such painting scheme. The colour is deeper than in PT630.

Apparently I have a weakness for frames that are red, white and black :)

Other that they were sitting on e bay for a year... I don't have any additional info...

Yea I know and the guy who sold them has no back story. I negotiated pretty low price for them so I guess they will be a cool addition to the wall!

The tecnifibre look sweet. What do they play like? Been thinking about purchasing the 315.

They play great. Very low powered and flexible (of course you can lead them up). I like the 16 x 19 pattern, low power, flex and just a great feel when you hit the ball.
Similar to the Pure Storm LTDs yet lighter and with a more open pattern.

Please, keep us informed.

I just came back home from practice. This was the second time I was using the QLIPP sensor. They say that the sensor weights 8g but you won't probably notice those 8 grams. It was a little bit hard to put it again after charging its battery but everything went well. So far I don't have any problems and I hope that I won't have any. This little thing can help you very much in your game.
I will attach a overview picture of the app, and todays session.

There's a photo of Bjorn Borg, looks like a 90's senior tour era Head Promo. He's crouching down with a navy blue Head mid that looks a very similar shade to your blue ones.

Hey guys,

Just purchased a pair of Wilson Pro room KSix-One 95's. Am just a bit confused as to what actual model these are.

Are they regular KSix-Ones? Or another model underneath the paint? Would love it if you guys could help me work this one out.

I think there 6.1's

There 6.1's 16x18. Can't really tell what's underneath but it's a 6.1 for sure.

That was for the HEAD Extreme Competition.

Oh right. I saw it was a similar shade of the blue and then recalled Kal-El's photos. I was just hoping that Kal-El had picked up some racquets that may have been intended for Mr B. Would have been a cool find.

I know Borg played the Prestige Mid for a while, but switched to the 16/19 90's offered by Wilson and Dunlop. Pretty sure he's still using the AG4D 100.

Nothing special - 2 Volk Organic 10 295 (leaded a little in the handle), love them but just got a pair of Yonex ai98 since they are stock sort of what the Volkls are like, and my sleeper racquet the Dunlop Biomimetic 200 Lite (search the racquets forum for a huge thread on this undiscovered gem).

Your collection looks sweet.
I see your PT630 is uncapped. If you don't mind sharing, what is the weight & balance on it?
Doesn't that version come with the caps from the factory?

I'm wondering how light I could make a PT630 by removing the caps & slapping on the thinnest grip.

Thanks

I actually prefer the capped version and the extra weight is not an issue for me. Im not sure of the exact delta with replacement, maybe @dr325i knows off memory, I dont have time to measure now.

Spot on 10grams when I replaced / changed from cap grommets to cheap microgel radical mp grommets. The lightest I have is 336grams and a balance around 31.5 with a synthetic grip (Gamma hi-tech)

Thanks a bunch for the info guys. Seems like way more ppl prefer playing with them capped.
Those specs you gave are more in my range for long matchplay. Are these numbers with an overwrap too?

Yes ! Wilson comfort (trimmed) Gamma hi tech grip was around 18g I think, there are lighter ones check out Chicago jack's thread on grips... The 280's for some reason ended with lower weights than my pt630's... With that kind of balance even pushing 340-345g static weight is fine... These sticks are fantastic with gut poly..
