"New" Adidas Barricade 6-month sole warranty

Absolutely LOVE IT.
Had my 2016 Barricade Boost that I acquired from TW for $85. Used them roughly for 4 months, went through the first layer of adiwear6, had the soft layer exposed that measured 1/8" by 1".
Sent them over to Adidas, 1/30, ($10 priority), 3 days later received the code from Adidas!
Immediately went to Adidas.com and got me a (retail $160) 2017 Barricade Boost pair for $0, free shipping.

Those will be delivered on Tuesday (2/7).
Will do a little writeup on the new Barricade Boost (orange)

Definitely improved.
Lately I use Nike shoes for most of time so I claimed only one adidas warranty claim since Adidas changed their warranty process. Much easier to claim and getting new pair of shoes. The best part for me was I got Classic barricade V for $30 and still I can get any barricade. I have not used the code and saving for French open Y-3 barricade boost.

I have too many shoes and prefer Nike voucher system so I can get anything from Nike website instead of only shoes though ^_^

I've been waiting on them for 2-3 weeks for response. You heard back quick. My shoes clearly had burned through so I don't know what the holdup is...

It was literally 4 days since I shipped (Priority).
Are you sure they have received your shoes?

You should call them.

A couple of years ago my shoes got lost somewhere in their building, so when I called, they asked for my USPS tracking number, and upon seeing that my package had been delivered to their address for several weeks, they shipped out a replacement pair.

I called and they just had the wrong email for me. Everything is good now and they handled it very promptly. I was impressed by their customer service.

I had the same issue. It took a total of 4 weeks from the time my return arrived at their warehouse to the time i got the voucher. Multiple emails and calls.

The cause was a combination of #1 busy holiday season and #2 some issue with the wrong email. Customer service seemed helpful throughout. Now my 2017 boosts are on the way. Yay neon orange!!

love the looks and color. They seem to have less cushioning than the 2016s, tongue is different and thinner. The comfort is there. I am curious about the long (>1 month) term comfort and wear.

They provide the best lateral support I've ever tried in a narrow-ish shoe. I'm currently rotating Barricade 2016's around, buying about any color that goes down $80/pair, so can't comment on the 6 month play guarantee. Great shoe IMO though.
