Roddick calls it well.

OK, serious now guys. Everyone vote for Federer in the poll from the article. If you're smart, you'd close the tab and re open it again so you can vote more than once.
You even called him Roddick instead of The Virus.I actually agree with Roddick. Time to take a shower.
I agree, these comparison conversations happen in all sports, and are interesting if the arguments are realistic. Unfortunately, by some here, they can be ridiculous. Nadal is the greatest clay court player of his time, Roger the greatest grass court player since 03.I hate to say it, but this is the kind of stuff that sustains interest in tennis. How popular do you think tennis (or any sport) would be if there were no GOAT debates, no hypothetical scenarios, no ridiculous comparisons of statistics when there is no correlation, etc?
I know most of you are too old to have watched cartoons, but if anyone has seen the Fairly OddParents, you should take note of what happened in the episode where Crocker lost belief in fairies. It's a pretty good metaphor.
Nadal v Federer threads, here anyways, hardly constitute debate. Debate is definitely healthy for a sport, but the number of people who view one player as infallible/immortal and all other top players as boring/lucky/one dimensional/terrible people is much higher than those who recognize how lucky we are to be watching the two greatest ever to play the sport. I think the latter is a better sporting culture, compared to the dart throwing.I hate to say it, but this is the kind of stuff that sustains interest in tennis. How popular do you think tennis (or any sport) would be if there were no GOAT debates, no hypothetical scenarios, no ridiculous comparisons of statistics when there is no correlation, etc?

yes, keep repeating yourself and expect a different result. You didn't deny it, I knew it!!!! Sad
yea uhm, calm down Nats. I would have to be beyond incapacitated for that to happen.Lol the only thing you accomplish by quoting me is opening your azz up to being destroyed.

Far ahead of you man. I've got six tabs open right now. Where's my back up?There's a poll at the end of the article and Fed is in the verge of losing it. Fed fans, get over there real quick to bring your man up. Nadal fans can rest easy.
The "ignore" button is your friend.
There is always Blake or someone else if you are not available. But then who would DRII talk to? I can't just ignore the little guy it would be cruel.
trust me, Blake is nearly as dejected as you all are after the French. There is always Blake or someone else if you are not available.
Wishful thinking. Everybody knew the end result before the French started. The end of it was great because grass and hard court seasons are after that.trust me, Blake is nearly as dejected as you all are after the French.
Elvis, M.J., and Madonna > Beatles. The "ignore" button is your friend.
expect to be further disappointed.Wishful thinking. Everybody knew the end result before the French started. The end of it was great because grass and hard court seasons are after that.
Anyone notice the poll underneath the article?
The Bull is going to sweep those seasons unchallenged too?expect to be further disappointed.
Why do you hate James Blake ?trust me, Blake is nearly as dejected as you all are after the French.
ignore = admitting defeat, so I thank the multiple fedephants who realize this, such an honor. An apt analogy for DRII's posting when he's on everyone's ignore list, "If a tree falls in a forest and no one is around to hear it, does it make a sound?"
no hate here, I just called him out for the Federer fanatic he is.Why do you hate James Blake ?

oh and you never told me; do gnats tweet or just buzz.
Elvis, M.J., and Madonna > Beatles.
deal with it.
You asking for help with your science project or something? That would explain your emotional maturity or lack thereof.
