My new baby. Found it in totally mint condition, original overgrip, no paint chips, not even a scuff on the bumper guard. Can't wait to restring it and give it a go.

My kids are beaming with joy with these beauties!!!! Best Raquet cosmetics ever! Would have never imagined Wilson having the best looking raquets of all time. They look even more impressive in person. Congrats Wilson!!!

Great pictures, and a great story! Hope your kids will love how they play as well :)

Finally got around to "figuring out" how pics work on here... These are some of mine - I guess the ones I think are most interesting that I have here in Germany. Unfortunately my Bumblebee and at least 2 zebras and another candycane all currently reside in the states...

I have a probably stupid question... Did I mess up the pic posting? Why is mine just a link instead of an actual picture like everybody else?

My family member brought it as a gift ^_^
It's Japanese/Asian exclusive so far.

I wonder if there's any chance of me getting someone to send it to me? I am a sucker for the Graphite series! Currently rocking the Graphite 2 Midpluses as my main sticks.

If you contact me, three weeks ago, he could bring extra one.
Still I can get it for you but shipping fee will be around $30-40 since express mail will be used. Send me a message, if you are interested in.

I love these! Wow. Too bad I don't like the way they play or I'd have them as well.

Great color

Great colors and would have gotten the bag but the material used these days on tennis bags is worse than previous bags.

Damn. I may can put some electrical tape over it or spray paint it. How does it hit stock? Spec wise it is right in my wheelhouse

I like it, its got plenty of power and I generate alot of my own power still. My strokes can be whippy at times and I don't have any problem with the weight. As it sits it's probably closer to 11.2 oz(TW says 10.8 oz strung) with a hybrid of 16g ALU power/Wilson NXT and an overgrip and a smidge of lead tape under the handle Feels great on my OHBH side, not too head heavy but still able to plow through the ball and generate plenty of topspin and pace

This is after coming from a 2015 Blade 98 16x19 and 2017 Pro Staff 97S the last few years

Awesome. I noticed you said you hit with the ProStaff 97s, which is also on my demo list.

Could you compare the two. The 97s and 97 ls? I've hit with the regular 97 and liked it very much.

I'm probably on the opposite side of the fence here but I tried the 97/97S(2017 red/black) and I found that I played better with the 97S. I'm not sure if wilsons QC had anything to do with it, but I used the same hybrid setup in both(ALU power mains/NXT crosses) and the 97 I just couldnt connect with and dial in. My forehands were all over the place and the launch angle was too. I couldnt hit a consistent FH and I had to keep adjusting my swing. the racquet felt alot more head heavy and to counter I put some lead tape under the handle to try and even the balance. My OHBH was decent at most and my volleys were mediocre. Overall I didnt have a good experience with the 97.

The 97S with the same setup and lead tape in the same spot felt alot better. The racquet felt more stable and balanced, my forehands felt more dialed in and connected, launch angle was mostly consistent and I didnt have to do too much adjusting. OHBH felt great and had plenty of plow through and stabillity. Volleys and serves felt great and controlled, aside from my kick second serve.

Overall I thought the 97S felt better all around than the 97, of course its subject to each individual

I apologize if my post offends any of the forum members...

Yesterday I did some cleanup and applied tourna leather grip to one of my racket. Took opportunity for family portrait for the prostaff.

From right to left:

1. Wilson Prostaff 6.0 85 St Vincent (quite heavy but very good)
2. Wilson Prostaff 6.0 Original 95
3. Wilson Prostaff 6.0 Original 95 (both are my alltime favourite: bought those form this forum years ago)
4. Wilson Prostaff 6.6 Tour Classic 95 (my racket since high school but cracked at throat for no reason recently)
5. Wilson Prostaff 6.6 Tour Classic 85 (recently acquired, and another one coming. Just applied Tourna Leather Grip and 7grams of lead yesterday)
6. Wilson Prostaff [K] Factor 6.1 Tour 90 (very bad (i mean heavily used) cosmetic and string. Hollow feel compared to older brothers. Cut off the string for storage)
7. Wilson Prostaff 6.1 90 (Bought brand new out of curiosity, is it good? its pair currently underway. This is my habbit of buying things i don't need so I cut the prestrung as I learnt from cracked tour classic 6.6)

Just another view of the family:

Its sad that we (in Malaysia) received news that Wilson will raise price for racket (coincident with Wimbledon?) here. No more good price for new rackets. Am thinking of jumping to Yonex (due to the bulged headsize trend now. I prefer mid headsize).

I also did remember purchased some dunlop and head frames years (around year 2000s) ago due to heavy discounts. However never did they came into play as I am fond towards wilson. I need to search for those (I believe in my mom's house and will post photos here once recovered). Can I ask my dear forum members does the value of Head PT630 (with Muster photo) appreciate that much nowadays? Am shocked as I remembered here Head did Buy 1 at 50% get another 2 rackets during closeout sale yesteryears. P/S: I just came back to tennis after 10 years. So much that I have missed along the way.

nevermind perhaps you will learn in time

Yup nevermind, i dont bother to learn to judge by couple of photos. Prefer to physically examine the rackets. Perhaps you can share how you could tell its fake.

By the way fake rackets dont sell in malaysia as genuine item are available at good price here. Just fyi.

one of the easiest way to tell a fake is when the frame is prestrung. again, you may learn in time what that means. it doesnt matter if you bought it straight from wilson. if it's prestrung its not a good frame
