Been intrigued by NB shoes, may have to try them out sometime.
Yeah the 996 is a compelling product. I tried it on and loved it. Good look and good colors with a durability guarantee. I am just sitting on a medically in-advisable amount of Vapor 9.5s that I need to crush before even entertaining any other shoe

Had my eye on the 996 as well, NB has made some sleek designs in my opinion as of late, i.e. the 1296. I suspect you have quite an amount of Vapor 9.5's  hehe it isn't because of the incoming Vapor 10? ;) I've got a substantial bit of shoes so I concur with you lol

I mean I have seen decent colorways of the Vapor X and I am not too worried... it looks good. I just have friends eyeing sales and they have my back. So I have a couple extra pairs. Plus I took like 6 months off so Its hard to wear down shoes when you are not playing haha

Got another pair of my favorite colorway of Propulse Fury. These have, by far, the most durable soles among all other shoes in the market today. Those Michelin treads are magical.

Please show us a photo of the treads. TIA.

Absolutely. Sorry about the picture sizes, I am on the phone so not sure how to adjust sizes. IMGUR keeps asking to download app if I want to edit them.

Anyway, these are brand new obviously and both my other Propulse Fury pairs that I use in rotation are at home (I'm visiting parents for a month or so). But even the used ones are in remarkable shape when it comes to tread durability. I own several Vapors, CBs, Cages, Barricades, HEAD Nitros, and Sprint Pros (even the crappy Prince Warrior line ones which were on sale for ever here at TW) that I have accumulated over the years among others, but so far none has durability like these.

Anyone has the Wilson Kaos (enamel blue one) here? It looks interesting to me and the price is pretty good too. Would love to get feedback on it. Wilson website customer reviews rate it pretty high.

too bad in my region I don't find a lot of babolat shoes. I heard the thread life on em are amazing... so far, the best ones I've tried are the barricades but they're really heavy shoes

Mine arrive today. Glad I finally secured a pair.
I am glad that you were able to do so. I never really said thanx for all of your instructions. Actually, I did as you suggested and was able to, finally, get hold of them.

So, officially, thank you.

Im in love of Barricades but i want to try something different for christmas because i didn't like the new 2017 fit, so how do they stack up with the Novak Pro/7"s?? (Im wearing some boost 2016 but still the pros are my tanks when i wanna go and play seriously hard)

I think you should definitely try the Propulse Fury. It is absolutely on par with all of the premium offerings currently in the market. Would certainly recommend them.

It has a wider toebox (suits me) which opens up after a few hours of play, and has better ankle support (power band provides phenomenal lateral support) than Novak Pros. Very comfortable. Equally durable outsole, if not better. It does not sit as low as some other shoes (higher instep and midfoot) but with power band strapped in, the lateral movement was amazing and felt much lower to the ground. Built like a tank and I do think it's targeted for same demographic as Barricades and the Cages but it does not give an overly sluggish feedback like most thick shoes do. I tried Babolat Jets later too and they seemed flimsy after the Propulse Fury. Jets are the lightweight Babolat offering at the moment.

I will be honest with you though, I felt 2016 Barricade Boosts were more comfortable. But in all aspects combined, I love the Propulse Fury. Traction, durability, support, stability, cushioning, you name it.

Got myself Barricade Boosts in the Xmas sales. Adidas AU had 50% off a few days before Xmas (then 40% off just after, and 30% off in the new year...o_O) so I was pretty stoked to find these at$120 AUD (~$95USD) from Adidas direct. From just trying them on and walking around they seem to offer great arch support via the yellow bracing and the boost heel feels very cushioned. Can't wait to try them out, and should get to play in them at the end of January.

Also, some feedback requested - should I pick up some black socks for these? The white look a little bit naff to me...

They are replacing these old basic Nikes (City Court?) which seemed fine until felt something under my big toe and found that I was down to outsole from the inside....heh. They've held up well for 8 years, due to the clay courts/synthetic grass we have in Melbourne (never played a hard court)

I did something similar. Bought the Nike Zoom Breathe 2k10 in the second semester of 2011

Then in April of 2017 I bought the Adidas adizero Ubersonic 2 (posted 2 pics in page 87). And last week I bought another pair of Ubersonic's 2 (the ones in the post above of course).

The breathe's lasted almost 6 years because in Argentina we have clay courts mostly, and also because I almost didn't play tennis in 2012 and 2013.

P.S. definitely wear black socks with those barricades.

What ?? 1 shoes doesn't even last 2 weeks ?????? LOL. Does he take lessons from James Blake on movement on court ? lol

]They don't burn holes. Just worn out in toe. The clay courts last longer . But still gets the spots where the ridges get really flat. He wears his old shoes to school after he gets his new shoes every few months from Nike.

Did he pick this shoe model himself ?? is this the NIke shoes that he likes best ? Cage 3 right ? why doesn't he wear the Vapor like Federer ?

The vapors have never fit him well. The court ballistic and cage were always what fit him. Yeah he picks the shoes he likes himself.

But the sizing is weird on the cage 3. In cage 2 he is a 12.5. In the cage 3 he wears a 14.

Been playing for more than 30 years and I think these are the best shoes I ever had (yes, I do have a pair of vapor 9.5, too.) Funny thing is they are not even 100% tennis shoes. They are made for indoor handball (the European version.) Had 3 pairs and now I am down this last one:

These look so cool. Correct me if I'm wrong, the name of these is the adidas Speedcut Optifit Stabil.

These colorways are enticing:

comfy, lightweight, and they look great too, annoyingly NB don't sell the 2E version in the UK, so imported these two from the states

Before I wore my trusty Barricade 8+s (green pair are the clay court version), I originally tried to switch to the Barricade 2017 but they were too narrow in comparison, especially with the plastic support in the midfoot.
