Babolat Pure Drive 2018 paint job too feminine?

So the new Pure Drive just released, and the pictures on internet were ok. When I ordered a demo and saw it in real, I couldn't stop noticing that the baby blue paint job was extremely feminine. Although it plays great, I will not buy this frame because I get so annoyed by the paint job.

I'm wondering if this is just me, or if there are more people thinking the same? Should Babolat release a this frame in an additional paint job?

Whatever you decide, I support you 100%..it won't hurt my game...

I think the black 97A has you name on it ( or is the feds)...
Just add pick strings...

Good thing no one ever told to my dad, that his baby blue eyes were to feminie..
He was a sharp shooter in the vietnam war(bronze star) .
He also had a 1957 baby blue ford f150 modified a bit, oh yer a few ghost flames also,,,

I wouldn't care if it is "too feminine" a color, whatever that even means. But Babolat probably knows that the primary rec market for the Pure Drive is junior girls. It's practically standard issue for junior girls.

Used to be 'standard issue' - along with Yonexes - now it's all Pure Aero!

Common everyone now, let's steady things up a bit and be happy. Incidentally I hear that one company is working on this new paint where the racquet can change colours from say a blue to a purple pink, sought like a chameleon, I think they are going to call it fluidity. Could be a goer aay.

I don't like the paint-job either. I hope Babolat will release French Open edition in different color next year.

Yeah, that's the 'in spite of rather than because of thing'; if a guy can still look masculine wearing effeminate attire - i.e. the 'machismo' still shows through, then the effect is enhanced exponentially. IMO the same thing goes for girls that still manage to look 'hot' despite having apparently made no effort; they look even hotter...

Hardly seems like a reason to not use it if it fits your game. It’s blue. When did blue become a problem with guys with machismo issues? Paint some skulls on it....
