Finally, after a prolonged post-USO exo-season, the most prestigious fall tournament has come upon us. Who will end up victorious?

Can the money go past Ramos?
27/2017 R64 Wimbledon Grass Albert Ramos-Vinolas Andrey Rublev 7-5 6-7(6) 4-6 6-3 6-4 1.71 - 2.10
25/2017 R32 Halle Grass Andrey Rublev Albert Ramos-Vinolas 6-7(1) 7-5 6-4 2.45 - 1.54

In best of 3 this is 2-0. Easily with both barrels

Gulag, not dacha, for Angrey Andrey!

I suspect the choice was rather between working extra hours during the holiday silly-season, or participating in valuable extracurriculars with Parliament Member Marat. That choice was never in doubt.

Komrade Vlad is disappoint Angrey Andrey will now enter AO'18 not as part of the vanguard but as a seedless serf.

Will Mannarino win this? He deserves it, had a very good HC season so far. It would be a nice reward.

Many people dislike Mannarino, but I semi-like his game. He knows how to play the mental games. He is diligent. He is wise. He takes advantage of other players' style. While he isn't the strongest athletic player....he uses his brain. All is fair in love and war. Right?? or not??

Agreed in all points. Very intelligent player, good variations. And he is talented too, with good sensibility on the ball. And kind of unique style, with very short FH movement, which hides well shot, and ideal for fast court game. Interesting serve with different positioning for 1st and 2nd serve. And one very important thing that bothers many players. He is a leftie. I think he has space to muscle up a bit. He can be a stable top 20 player.

Very surprised Mannarino lost to Berankis in the semis getting handed a breadstick in the decider too (any injury problems reported?)!

Two first time finalists in Moscow then and only the 2nd ATP final for Berankis (played his first back in 2012 in Los Angeles but got heavily beaten by Querrey). The in-form Dzumhur, already a maiden titlist this season, has to be the favourite!

What a choke from Manny. Haven't seen the match, and I don't think I ever saw Berankis play. Just saw now he is ranked 169. Excelent win for him, we don't often see a player with than kind of rank reach a ATP 250 final.

Nice to see Berankis announce his reemergence as a serious threat at the top echelons of the game, and surely a potential slam-contender in this sorry era where any pensioner willing to pay for the right draw can win a Wimbledon. His health didn't allow him to take the title this time, but he's getting there.

Congrats to Dzumhur on winning his 2nd ATP title. He's really started to come good this season.

Commiserations to Berankis on losing out again in only his 2nd ATP final (5 years after his 1st). At least he took it down to the wire this time which can only be an encouraging sign for him if he can keep up this kind of form next season.
