Skin Feel vs ResiThin

Can TW tell me which replacement grip is thinner? Babolat Skin Feel or Prince ResiThin?

And what about Wilson FeatherThin?

I'm looking for the thinnest replacement grip on the market.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Yonex Hi Soft Grap replacement grips (originally for badminton) are extremely thin and have excellent bevel feel. Not sure on thickness though.

I've used both and Wilson Feather Thin is definitely thinner that SkinFeel. I read somewhere else on here it's around 1.2mm which I believe. It's actually easy to tear it if you over stretch it.

You can feel the letters on the SkinFeel. It's annoying to use without an overgrip. Also the priciest of the four.
The most recent Tourna Pro Thin review on TW says, "Looks like the latest version corrected the "kitchen plastic liner" feel issue as described by reviewers below, makes it feels a bit like Prince Resi-Thin. However, at the same time, it becomes slightly thicker. Now it's not much thinner than Prince Resi-Thin."
I'm also looking for thin grips and will probably try the Prince, Tourna, and Wilson with and without OGs.
Good luck on your search.

I just put Tourna Pro Thin on a racquet yesterday. It literally feels like a wilson pro overgrip. It's suuuuuuuuper thin.

Wow... Tourna Pro sounds really thin. Too thin if it's really as thin as an overgrip. I'm looking for something a little thinner than Babolat Skin Feel. Skin Feel really isn't that thin if you ask me. But I definitely don't want a replacement grip as thin as an overgrip. I was thinking of trying the Feather Thin from Wilson. But that's supposed to be as thin as Tourna Pro. So now I'm considering Resi Thin instead as it's supposed to be just a tad thinner than Skin Feel.

Still never heard from TW on this yet.

Both of the Tourna and the Wilson are thinner than the Babolat Skin Feel. However, that stated, each of those other two are somewhat more fragile and are more prone to tearing if you really stretch them (certainly a consequence of the thinner construction). I found the Prince very similar to the Skin Feel (albeit with less writing on it). Good luck.

I'll be using a Head Prestige Pro overgrip over top of the replacement grip. So I'm not worried about the replacement grip being to fragile or what it feels like. I'm just trying to reduce the grip size by at least half a grip size. Do you think Resi Thin is thinner than Skin Feel?

Ok, so it feels more like 2 overgrips, but it's still super thin. Prince ResiThin is pretty good. It offers a little tiny bit of cushioning, but allows you to feel the bevels nicely.

For sure. Wilson Feather Thin will tear very easily if you stretch it too much when you're wrapping it. It also doesn't last nearly as long as other replacement grips.

My solution has been to start buying 4-1/4 grip sizes so that I have more room to use cushioned grips if I want to. Building up the grip is easy.
