Could live with that. Fedr looking for revenge this time around though. If Fred doesn't win it then I'd like Del Po to take it. Or Del Po win Miami in Final against Fred.
Never understood what people like about Delpo.

Such a decent fellow. One of the best FHs ever and seems like a humble, decent guy.
That's just banter.Such a decent fellow.
Such a decent fellow.
And Kyrgios was only 20 during #sorrymategate. That Murray thing was a decade ago lol. Which would have made him 19 years old.
I'd bet dollar to donuts you could find this kind of stuff on any player
And Kyrgios was only 20 during #sorrymategate.
Delmug himself has been faking injuriesI can't remember that match well, but if Haase really was amping up the theatrics or embellishing a minor/non-existent ailment/injury, I can see how it would annoy Delpo with his numerous career threatening injuries. That match also took place after a long hiatus due to one. The Murray stuff was buried between them ages ago.
Delmug himself has been faking injuries
Yeah Delmug joined the little 3 with playing possum/faking injuries and time wasting. Bad characters.Del Potro doesn't fake injuries. He does however have the Stan Wawrinka gene of always looking like at any given moment he could keel over and die and does sometimes play possum.
There's also a difference between gamesmanship and sportsmanship. The former especially being a staple of tennis since its existence.
Did Haase deserve what Del Potro said to him? Probably not. Do I believe he was 100 percent innocent in all of it? Probably not.
As far as linking anything with Murray in it, that is paradoxical in and of itself given Murray is one of the biggest spastics the sport has ever seen. Not to mention how many times he grabs at his ankles, hip, back, etc.
Quote for truth. He does however have the Stan Wawrinka gene of always looking like at any given moment he could keel over and die
Quote for truth.
But it's not gamesmanship I don't think.
FerdIf Fred doesn't win it then I'd like Del Po to take it. Or Del Po win Miami in Final against Fred.
If you look closely - and know Spanish - it’s clear Delpo says ‘stop looking at my girlfriend’ to ND.Think a lot of people feel bad for him (all the injuries and what could have been). I'll admit his niceness is a little over-stated/ rated (overrated the official word of TTW in 2018 - he can be mean/grouchy at times too). But he's a good bloke. Really seems to love the game and his opponents as well.
I really dig the Djokovic Delpo bromance
Yeah - Delpo is a real competitor. He's tough as nails and plays to win and does not let a bad point/game/set rattle him like players such as Zverev and Dimitrov. I remember watching fairly recent training videos of Delpo and Dimitrov on the ATP website/youtube. Delpo just looks like he is training in a local park and working out in a ratty gym (Rocky style) - basically working his tail off and icing his knees afterwards. Dimitrov looks like he lives in a posh resort, probably walks around with headphones on all day, trains in a high tech gym getting aerobic readouts on how well he's doing and probably receives love texts from Nicole in between sets. And you wonder why Dimitrov can't win. =)-Huge FH. People always love players with big FHs.
-Big match player, in stark contrast to millenial barking chiwawas of the current tour.
-Great perseverance despite numerous (genuine) career ending injuries.
-Very memorable slam breakthrough. Beating Fedal back-to-back.
-Charismatic guy.
Fraud will stop Delmugtro from vulturing IW.
No.lol, u butthurt because fedr goat?
For bants.ok why u call him Fraud instead of Fedr (Goat) then?
For bants.
A guy can be nice and still get mad or act unsportsmanlike.

As far as linking anything with Murray in it, that is paradoxical in and of itself given Murray is one of the biggest spastics the sport has ever seen (and to clarify, I mean in the clumsy definition of the word, don't get all offended people). I say that based on how many times he grabs at his ankles, hip, back, etc. So one could accuse him of "faking injuries" too then. Like they do with half the tour already.
Is it me or is Delpo going to the slice less and less on the BH. The matches I have watched at IW it seems like he's driving and rolling the ball more on his BH.
Agreed. Delpo is a competitor who loves to win. Sometimes such people get heated on court. So, he's not a saint, but maybe being saint-like is not a preferable aspiration when you have two gents clubbing forehands at each other. He's still a nice guy, though, and well-liked on tour. And that US Open run was the stuff of legend....
If you don't want people to get all offended then don't use such a word. Plenty of other words you could have used. Naughty boy.
Exactly, well said.
Poor word choice I agree as the definition I intended is often not the one interpreted. I've edited it out.
Do you know Smallville? I was using a Lionel quote. That's why I included ''naughty boy.''
Never understood what people like about Delpo.
It's the bolded part I don't get. Do people here really have that much of a selective memory?class act,
