I think Federer will win it too. Fed and Nadal probably to sweep the slams again. Rafa won’t give up on catching Fed, but he needs to win another Wimbledon to try and narrow the gap.

A guy nearly 37 years old (even when he's GOAT) winning a major is a huge stretch. Let's wait and see what his form is like in Stuttgart and Halle before engraving his name on any trophy.

I also made my contribution.
But don't fell small, you should rejoice with your neighbor's success.

Thou shall not covet your neighbour's house.

Thou shall not covet your neighbor's wife, or his male or female servant, his ox or donkey, or anything that belongs to your neighbour, including his like success.

He is the main favorite but he is not lock on for Wimbledon. The fact that he didnt lose set there the last year was amazing. This is not happening this year.Cilic will put more fight if they meet.

Federer can't be a 100% favourite on winning wimby. I mean, there is real *competition* on grass unlike clay field. And I don't think nadal defends his USO title. Djokovic will be probably completely back at that time. Hopefully delpo and cilic will remain in shape. And fedr also won't do foolish mistakes of overplaying.
And biggest factor of all :- You just cant get a cakest of cakewalk draw everytime........

And Cilic is winning the USO.
Now gimme gimme gimme.

It is possible if he stays in shape and do not face 2 big 4 members simultaneously....

100% true. Agreed. Still he is the most favourite even at 37. But I will also go with his form at warmup tournies.

Fed devotees can't stop dreaming about him. (This thread is proof.)

Fed will get his 9th Wimby. SW should unveil a statue and rename Center court as "Federer Court".

9th wimby is possible. But not the renaming of centre court. Wimbledon is the most prestigious and classical tournament in tennis. They wont change names, even if federer wins 10 wimbys...

Again...same kind of one-dimensional crap messages...

Cilic will indeed push a 4-setter or a tight 5-setter or simply can fold like a cheap tent in 3 sets

Hmm. I only replied to the creator of the thread.

Interesting, I couldn't find your reaction to this post:

Why would I have a reaction to that post? I posted my own list of preferred RG winners on that thread and I had Nadal as fourth(after Thiem or Zverev and Del Potro), what more do you want? Do you think most Fed fans would put Nadal as fourth? I'm ok with Nadal winning the trophy but I'd like to see a fresh winner.

I used the same words used in 'that post'.

Federer won a Slam at 36. So he's probably still a strong candidate to win another one at 36 now that he's fully rested for the grass season. He won't be 37 until August.

And nah.

Last year was the year. He did it. Outright record. The champion of champions. The Master.

This year he will open play in London as the only man, living or dead, to have left without losing eight times.

Eight lifetimes worth of victory seems enough for Roger, but if there is anyone in the world who can decide that it's not - it's him.
