Wim 04 only. He was down a break in the 3rd set, that's it. (they were 1 all in sets)

Wim 2012, he had already turned the match around before the rain started by winning the 2nd set.

rain only started in the 3rd set.

One thing is for sure, Rafa's chances outside clay this year are BLEAK. If he's struggling so much on clay I really don't see him do much off it.

Schwarzman ain't got the goods people. Rain or no rain, he doesn't have the mentality to beat Nadal on clay. He caught Nadal playing bad and bagged a set. That's all. With that horrible serve Nadal can break at ease whenever he digs deep.

Why not Wimbledon 2012? He lost the first set but as soon as the roof was closed it was all Federer.

Murray would’ve won had the roof remained open.

Interesting. I always thought Rafa might struggle in the heavier conditions, but it might actually help him against this particular opponent. He just needs to keep focusing and taking charge of the points.

Fed won the 2nd set (and in a spectacular manner, played some sweet half-volleys IIRC to break Muzza) and had the momentum on his side before the roof closed down.

I don't even "need" Nadal to lose, I just want good matches. Same with Wimbledon.

I am hoping Del Potro makes it past Cilic because Nadal does look like he can be upset here.

It's their desperation to see Nadal lose. Haters are haters, be of Federer or of Nadal. They are usually illogical and very bitter for some reason.

Yeah, it's funny. I don't like MTOs or Nadal's time wasting, those are fair game to attack but rain delay?

He didn't face Nadal at the 2018 AO because Nadal wasn't good enough to reach him. Federer beat Nadal's conquerer - Cilic.
