I chanced upon this APDC a while ago, in commemoration of Nadal

Painted it flat grey and fitted cap grommets. Currently strung with VS gut mains (50lbs) and Hurricane Tour crosses (48lbs).
375g strung weight
32.2cm balance

To say it can crush the ball is an understatement
What kind of paint did you use? I'm looking to repaint one of my frames soon.

Just a generic automotive spray paint. I have also painted a different racket with graffiti paint and that came out very well. To be honest I have found both options to be good

I've found that automotive paints work well too, so that's what I'll use.

That looks awesome, that is exactly how I wish I could respray my racquets.
Can I ask what paint did you use?
Do you have any problems with chipping, flaking, cracking?
Did you have to bake the paint?

Thanks. It's just a regular rattle can spray paint from a car accessories shop. I have also had success with graffiti paint.
I don't bake them but I do dry then with a hairdryer for a few minutes after spraying... I don't know if it helps or not!
Durability wise they are not as good as the factory paint job, but they're certainly not bad. Mine doesn't have any chips yet.

Nice!!! I too have many of your fine steeds/ fillies. I try to take them out on a more regular basis... to the amusement of my fellow club members. I frequently hear "What's he going to use this time...?" and "Ahh... you clearly played better this time because you used that racquet rather than the one you used last time (little smirk included)"... I find it very amusing. Nothing like your friends to keep you grounded

Yeah, I know... when that happens I just ask them if we could swap racquets for a few hits so I could try their new fan-dangled racquet. That pitying glance disappears pretty quickly and is replaced with lots of questions about my racquet and what it is and where they can get one.
I had a guy contact me once when I was selling one of my PT57A's (I have too many to use in my lifetime
) and try to offer a ridiculous amount... When I told him he's making me laugh, he said "Why would I pay that much for an old piece of junk when I can buy a new Prestige for less". I said he should perhaps do a bit of research to educate himself which would prevent him from asking such ridiculous questions.

After 10 months with Prince Extreme 100P i've dusted off my trusty old PK Q5s and found my form again. Wasn't enough plough through with the 305g frames and experiments with weighting have only ever resulted in shoulder pain for me. Glad I didn't sell my PKs not that it was likely anyone would buy them, not a popular make here and very hard to shift rackets second hand anyway.

Wasn't enough plough through with the 305g frames and experiments with weighting have only ever resulted in shoulder pain for me. Glad I didn't sell my PKs not that it was likely anyone would buy them, not a popular make here and very hard to shift rackets second hand anyway.

I hit with @Lendl and Federer Fan some time back awhile ago. Can't remember what racquet he was using at the time but he hits hard. Even the feeds are hard.
