Always left a sour taste in my mouth. Not for Donna as she was very young but Stan for saying he split with his wife due to distance and playing lots of tournaments but the wife said that wasn't the reason. Stan left his wife behind while she was heavily pregnant to play tournaments and the impression was that she didn't want that. Seems he was cheating with Vekic long before the split.

True but tbf at the age she was at most wouldn't have the maturity to see that, abs you don't know what stories he fed her.
Tbf, none of us know what went on in his relationship, and we probably shouldn't judge. Still, doesn't look good from all I can see.

What percentage of normal, everyday 30/40/50 year old men wouldn't be with an 18 year old girl (or boy, if they're gay)? Seriously! The issue is that most aren't hot enough, rich enough or powerful enough to arrange that happening. How many 30 year old men are wanking it over a 35 year old when they can imagine or view an 18 year old on their screen or phone? What total hypocrisy right here.

Vekic has had her share of fun with the boys . So any claim that Stan conned her is absurd. It is not that he married her when she was underage.

He was almost a nobody till then, people hardly talked about him. His first real claim to fame was the 2013 AO match against Djokovic, it was his first breakout season, before that he was just another top 20-30 player, consistent but not elite. Nobody paid much attention to him.
I like to watch him play, when he is on his game is quite fun to watch, that backhand of his is a thing of beauty but for some reason I don't like him as a person although I obviously don't know him personally, there's something about him I find off putting. I have also seen him being rude to ballkids, I absolutely hate that.

Vekic's age is irrelevant as long as it is legal. Wikipedia says the age of consent in Nigeria is 11 years; maybe Stan can join the African Tennis Tour when he's retired from the ATP.

Well, maybe looks aren't everything. I mean she isn't unattractive and given the choice between someone like Vekic who might be a super nice girl and someone hotter but bitchier, I'd be inclined to take Vekic. Who really knows what the circumstances were when they met.

Actually other way around we liked him beating them but many still dont like him,
I dont but when he is on who cannot admire his pounding groundstrokes in an era of pushers?
As for Vekic and his ex^wife well she knew what she was doing, I just hope wawas parents
still see his ex as a good person so they can be grandparents to his child, it would be sad
if either party broke off contact as children need family.

Also the nature gave most species the tendency to mate with other males/females so that there is more variety of genes and better evolution. But of course human beings are a bit different. I'm not saying we should look for other gender to mate and reproduce, it is not practical for bringing up kids. I would stick with my wife as long as we have bound as a family but if that house is a hell every day, it is not good for anyone. I'm sure Stan's wife is happy now that it all ended. She was hurt of course then.
