Bring back the vintage photos that allow you to smile and show off some of those features. Instead of looking like you're being sent to Aunt and Uncle house for a fortnight.

Clubs shouldn't announce players until they have the picture with the scarf above the head. We signed two players on loan yesterday, Thomas Agyepong and Emerson Hyndman, but because of "international clearance", we can't have the picture with the scarf. What was the point of announcing in when you're going to put these pictures on the official website:

All that pes discussion made me interested to find out what exactly happened to Adriano. Yes, I know he was not as good as pes advertised when he was at his peak but he was no bum.

''Adriano had all the talent in the world to make him a legend of the game but never produced the goods on a consistent basis to justify his talent. His career faded away in the late 2000’s due to his addiction to girls, gambling, and guns. Had he worked harder, he would have become a regular contender for the coveted Ballon d’Or.''

Girls, gambling and guns. Explains it all then.

Godin is the final centre back to be speculated for United. It's like torture man.

lol Yeah, many signings look as if they're getting the passport photo done instead of sealing a big life changing move.

Exactly, I’m surprised they haven’t started asking for Snapchat filters. Could just imagine seeing Ronaldo in his Juventus shirt and matching cat ears/whiskers. Maybe Courtois will be the first later, princess tiara, perhaps?

Atletico have saved majority of their star players, look strong and stable, are one of Champions League favorites while the next final will be played at their stadium. Did Manchester really try to sign Godin on the final day of their transfer window? :D

Didn't expect them to be one of the quieter clubs in the market this summer.

Arsenal have done bits in the transfer window. Spent the 3rd most out of all the PL clubs but yet I still feel dissatisfied.

We need a winger and another defender imo. Dembele would be great but I don’t expect Barca to give him up unfortunately.

It's ridiculous.

I know we give Mourinho stick but the board/Woodward are trickier to get rid of. They haven't produced. The United brand might be huge business but the transfer dealings haven't been great. But then I guess it doesn't matter if you make the champions league. Reminds me of the ways of another club that plays in Red. Just so competitive now that it is seen as a big achievement, and it is. But as far as being title challengers. Everybody is writing United off. Even me. :/

Europa League third qualifying round vs Molde is tonight. Apparently Molde have some kid who's good but they're selling him off to Red Bull Salzburg so I imagine that will help. Don't know what the team will be like without McGinn. Hopefully Hyndman is cleared to play in time

United still have deadwood from the Ferguson era to offload.

Can’t believe Smalling and Jones are STILL united players.

Good luck.

Would love Hibernian to qualify and then get drawn in our group. ;)

Coutinho changes his number to 7. It was being saved for certain someone but that transfer crashed.

Bought him for 100 million a year ago, you would be foolish to ever get your hopes up this soon.

That's probably the case in England since there isn't a massive difference between the top few sides. Someone unfortunately has to miss out.

A well thought out plan from Godin and agent. This is football. All about the new contracts.

sky sports
''WHAT HAPPENED WITH GODIN?

Dharmesh Sheth has an explanation for us...

"Godin’s agent was actually the one who approached Manchester United this week, saying the player was keen to come to Old Trafford and a deal could be done.

"It’s my information that United made an offer for the agent to take to the Atletico board and within hours Godin signed a new contract on improved terms at Atletico Madrid, earning him 7.5m euros net per year.

"To be clear, Mourinho would have been keen to sign Godin, but he believes the desire on the agent’s part was always to leverage the situation to get a new contract for his client."

Interesting...

Marca reporting that both Mina and Andre Gomes are on verge of signing for Everton. But the deadline is very close so it's not 100% guaranteed.

Brilliant idea moving the entire transfer window a few weeks earlier...

Why has it been moved back? We need more time.

Glad that Gomes isn’t coming to Arsenal though. I heard some bad things about him from Barca fans.

I'm all for the change.

Still have delusions that a superstar is going to arrive last minute, Berbatov style. But nah, not happening. Dimitar Berbatov Took one look at City and he said 'eff off'!

Season officially starts in a few days so very excited.

Sucks that City and Chelsea are our first two games but maybe it will help our momentum in the long run if we can somehow win both of those games.

I fancy us to beat Chelsea (as we usually do ;) ) but can imagine City bending us over.

Clock Kent is ticking. Two hours to go until deadline. What about an ol Varane rumor just to give it an appropriate ending.

Apparently he was spotted at Manchester airport, being ushered into the back of a car a few minutes ago

My moneys on a kidnapping attempt though, nobody wants to go to United these days :p

I can't wait to draw against Leicester.

Nah, I'm still hyped. Looking forward to it. One of those occasions I actually see some mates and everything else is put aside. Football still has that power.
I definitely won’t be watching much United this year. Watched a few games last season and was bored out of my mind.

Will look forward to watching Auba and Laca destroy the Mourinho bus. ;)

Emery called Mourinho a “crybaby” so he’s already a hero before the season even starts. :D

Criticize Mourinho makes you already a hero. Fair enough, because being a manager as good as him can only be a fantasy to most. :D
He was a great manager but he seems like a toxic person to me.

Couldn’t hurt to show some class and respect. Say what you want about Don Arsene but he has class.

Barcelona and Everton have reached an agreement for the transfer of Yerry Mina. The announcement arrived 5 minutes before the Premier League transfer deadline. The Merseyside club will pay around 30 million, while Barcelona reserves the right to buy him back.

Edit: The two clubs have also reached an agreement for the loan of Andre Gomes. Everton will pay a bit over 2 million and will pay his wages.

Best of luck to both of them.

Transfer window ends and Spurs didn’t sign a single player.

Kidding themselves if they think they can get champions league.

Spurs are the first PL club in history to fail to sign a player in the summer transfer window.

Another one for the trophy case. :p

They didn't lose anyone either. Don't write them off.

That seems to be the general theme I’m hearing. I’d agree, to an extent. They’re still a good team and Kane will get plenty of goals (unlike Chelsea, I’m struggling to see where we’re going to get them from).

Having said that, everyone seems to of forgotten Pochettino suggesting he might of taken this team as far as he can. It was after the FA Cup semi final loss, but didn’t really get much attention. I think that story has potential to gather momentum this season.

I’m honestly expecting Arsenal to resurrect the 4th place meme considering where Spurs and Chelsea are right now.

I think City and Liverpool have top 2 nailed. There are question marks about the rest though, for sure. Everton have spent big, West Ham too. Wolves and Fulham loaded up. There’s usually at least one team who surprises and pushes for Europe. So yeah, it wouldn’t surprise me to see one or two of the big teams nearer to mid table than the top.
