Totally share the same sentiments with the OP. Year just passed by so quickly. Time accelerates with each new year. When you're 5 years old, one year is 1/5th of your life, very long, but when you're 65, it's 1/65th of your life, so, so short. I'm a year younger then Fed, but still... UO was a climax to a year of great tournaments and maybe some unexpected results i.e. Novak's return. Perhaps the last time we see all the Big 3 together at the ATP rankings list. Brings back real nostalgia for one more last time.
Hopefully there will be some great matches left but with Nadal injured it will not be the same. Maybe Fed could make it interesting if he plays well during indoor season or some other rising star. Novak is here to stay it seems to me ready to annihilate the competition without much mercy. In my part of the world, autumn is coming and it is sad part of the year. Winter is even more dreadful. Luckily, AO comes in middle of it to give us some hope and warm us in this grey, grey, world. Take care tennis fans
