In no particular order:

* Graff's Golden Grand Slam

* Navratilova's Boxed Set (All singles, doubles and mixed doubles GS titles)

* Navratilova's 74 match winning streak

* Evert's 125 match winning streak on Clay

* Navratilova's 6 straight Grand Slams

* Graf's 4 of every singles Grand Slams

* Navratiloca's 6 straight wimbledons, and 9 (singles) titles in all

* Graf's 22 open-era singles slams in 17 years

*Smith Court's 24 singles slams including 11 AO titles

* Navratilova's endless doubles records (e.g. 31 womens GS titles, 109 match winning streak with Pam, 8 straight slam titles)

Yes, in general I find people are far too dismissive of Kournikova's acheivements. She has accomplished more than 99 percent of female tennis professionals ever will - she deserves a huge amount of credit for her tennis skills. Perhaps she didn't "deserve" all the hype, but let's not rob her of her due.

How many can claim to reaching slam semis in singles along with two grand slams and reaching world#1 in doubles?

Yes I too agree with this. Even on singles alone she is not as poor as everyone makes out. Reaching grand slam semifinals is no easy achivement (this puts here and the same level of GS achivement as someone like Henman). Her image did "outperform" her game, but really she was more than just a pretty face.

Agreed, but the post is about greatest achievements and Anna doesn't belong in this thread.

don't forget elizabeth ryan for most titles

193 singles
255 doubles
214 mixed

652 total titles

chris evert's career .900 win/loss and losing just 12 games in the entire 1976 USO is also noteable, if not ridiculous.

How about that Steffi Graf is the only player, man or woman, to defend her title at each of the Grand Slams, and not only did she do it once, she's done it at least twice at each Grand Slam. She's also won each Grand Slam at least four times.
