Hmm. Didn't think about that. Possible I suppose. But the VS models already have other significant points of difference so the where the Cortex is placed or if they bother with it all wouldn't matter much.

Remember the VS models are different racquets with a completely different purpose.
I honestly doubt it would make a difference. I can't tell the difference with the new PA. It feels different than the previous version but not in a way that seems attributable to different cortex.

If anything, I would like to see them take the stiffness down. The Strike VS are the lowest RA for babs and its still 65. It seems like more control and feel was the idea with the new PA and I would like them to replicate that with hypothetical new PA VS. Lower stiffness seems to be trending too with the Clash.

The only way to tell if you like it to string it to your requirements and use it for a week. It you have the money, just buy the 2019 and decide.

Demoed PA 2019 to see if it will be a good fit for my son. Eventually i liked it and bought one now!

Previously the best winning racquet i had was Pure Aero Tour. But sold those because of the the high stiffness and potential arm injury. Mishits were causing discomfort.

Recently I was playing with Yonex DR98 & Prokennex Q+5 Pro racquets; very good racquets, with zero chances of getting arm issues. So far played 3 times with PA 2019, and no signs of any discomfort; and one or two mishits i had did not transfer any shocks. And i am getting lots of spin with very good control and enough power!

Looks like THE racquet for my game, as long as it does not cause any arm problems.

My score for PA 2019 is 92/100. And still does not beat my IG Prestige Mid's 95/100 score, but I am winning points with less effort using PA! Babolat has done an excellent job!!

How is the Prokennex Q+5 Pro? Does the extended length cause issues at the net

Q+5X Pro is the extended length racquet, not Q+5 Pro. I haven't tried the extended version, but the standard version is an excellent racquet! Only knock I have is on the serves, which needs some additional weight in the hoop.

Let us know how it plays compared to the previous plus
It's a "cheat-code" racquet for double play. Lol
Less power (still massive), more spin, less vibration, both versions are comfortable though. Different feel. I need some more sessions.
For those control by spin, it really shines. Backhand slice is grear. But I couldn't find my 2hbh

The tour is the one I want to try. I’m playing with the current PAT and love it. Tried other things and can’t put it down. I like the new PA and may end up buying one but must try the tour first.

Just added some lead tape at 9 and 3 o'clock to my Aero Pure 2019 to make it more stable and give it more power too! LOL!:)

I don't have a machine. But compare to my Dr98+ the new PA+ seem light, faster

what is DR98 plus ? When I tried the new 2018 Pure drive plus , it was surprisingly maneuverable and felt good at net compared to previous version. I think it has a little bit lower SW. I am hoping new PA+ would be same type of situation.

Yonex Dr98 27.5 version.
If you meant maneuverability, yes it feels very quick compare to the last version.

Mustard Yellow is the best color so far! Contrast it with black trim, PA 2019 is very nice looking racquet! I really like the new AP looks and the way it hits! First modern racquet that I have ever own.

340 in an extended length Dr98+ is Not Huge swingweight
What I meant is the PA+ is very whippy, faster quicker.

I understand what you mean. but SW of 340 feels very slow to me. Years ago, I tried a old pure drive plus that had a swing weight around 335 and that felt very slow and I couldn't use it at all.

I was just reading up on the customer reviews trying to find my personal review was the sixth in line on this Pure Aero 2019 back in end of September and it has been deleted! I gave a very favorable review of PA and was around three sentences long! But the ones based on days is still there except my review. I think it was to favorable for the TW comment moderator who probably uses a competitor racquet brand.

I picked one up and tried it out, I actually like the yellow cosmetic but that is subjective. My singles racket is an rf97 but have a 13' APD for doubles. I played the 13' APD and 19 PA back to back, both newly strung the same with RPM blast rough black 16g at 55lbs. The AP had more power but less control than the 13. The 13 felt more like a scalpel with sharp fast hard controlled slices. I could take full swings and balls would drop in with lots of topspin.. and I hit hard. The 19 flew long and was slightly erratic, had to slow down to keep it in. Slices were catching the net or floating long.. I couldn't dial it in but that may take more time. The 19 was obviously much more powerful on serves. I didn't notice any increased spin with the 19. I like to hit really big and I think with more time I can get more connected and dial it in better but initial impression compared to the 13 APD you gain power but lose precision.

329 sw 65 ra according to the mob who have no idea lol

TW website now has it and it has the SW as 330. so their spec seem pretty accurate. So I should swing easier than the last Pure Aero plus for sure. I will have to see how it performs on Serve and Volley during doubles.

I only have one concern. How do the 19 compare to 13 in maneuverability ? and at Volleying easiness ? 13 was so maneuverable at net and served well too even though it was extra long. How did 19 compare in this department ? Thank you in advnance

I haven't really volleyed with it yet, I played singles and focussed on groundstrokes and serving.. I will get more time with it over the next few days. It is a bit harder on the arm than the 13, I could feel it.

Thank you. But did you feel like 19 swung as easy as 13 while hitting groundies at baseline or did you think it was harder to get around ?

It didn't feel harder to get around but I play with the RF97.. so I am used to heavy. It just felt slightly vague and disconnected with more power compared to the 13, back to back. On first impression, If precision is your game, I think the 13 is better scalpel. My game is a big hitting power game. I need more time with it but it was interesting to hit them back to back with identical strings.

so you felt it was very similar between 13 and 19 as far as being able to swing with easy from the baseline ?

I didn't really notice any difference, but I swing fast and use the heavy RF97. My experience is biased toward a heavier racket.
That is Great news. my main problem with Pure aero plus 2017 was that it swung so much slower and maneuverability poor compared to aeropro plus 2013. if 19 is more similar to 2013 aeropro plus than it is a must try for me.

Basically, the 13 just felt more precise and connected.. the 19 had more power but it felt more vague. No spin advantage that I could tell. I'll be playing more with both in doubles and singles and update my impressions..
