Raonic doesn't just wear NB. He IS New Balance

Better than Berdych wearing Djokovic's shoes.

Needs to get past Medvedev first.

You honestly feel that Medvedev will even make it competitive against Djoko? I'd be surprised if he even won a set.
Djokovic is not Fed and he is not losing to anyone these days in the slams. And i doubt Medvedev is as good as the Greek kid who beat Fed.

Novak has been susceptible to losses against the younger players. I say this as a fan. It’s not out of the realm of possibility Med will beat him.

Zverev will get pulverized too. It makes absolutely no difference.

I don't disagree with you. But Zverev would obviously make it a little more competitive given that he moves better than Raonic. Of course, not the way he is playing this match obviously.

Anyway, I had said before the tournament that everyone is basically playing for 2nd place. With Fed out, it just seems likely that Nadal will have the 2nd place.

I don't think he would actually. Zverev vs Djoker in the SFs of a slam has blowout city written all over it. At least Raonic has a serve that might click and get him to a TB possibly.

Djokovic isn't invincible, we're not talking about Prime Nadal on clay.

Have you seen Medvedev play. Djokovic's defense and ROS alone would frustrate Medvedev. Not to mention Novak is serving big and attacking with his forehand.
Also I havent't seen Novak lose in slam matches since he's been back in form.
We are talking about the best player on this surface in the history of the game. When he hangs up his racquet, Novak will have an unbeatable record at the AO.

I guess you're probably right. Do you have any idea why Zverev becomes this mental midget in slams? I don't get it. This guys is a totally different player from the one that won the WTF.

Even prime Nadal was not invincible on clay. Soderling beat him didn't he?
But Djokovic on AO, is as close to domination on hardcourts as you can ever get. Which other player has dominated this surface more?

Theheheh people are expecting mugs of new generation like Zverev to stop Nole from winning slams? seriously? they've trouble beating even tier 2 and 3 players at slams.

Zverev's FH is garbage for one thing. It's not really a slam winning FH right now if it ever will be. He basically has the early career Andy Murray syndrome with a 10th of Murray's talent.
