Rams, over, 61.

Final score 34-27. The Rams stop a last minute Pats drive to secure the win. Unlike the Chargers and Cheifs, I believe the Rams will be able to get pressure on Brady thanks to Donald and Suh. Goff for MVP.

Get in earlier next year! I’ll include you in the invitation list for WC weekend next time around.

got busy at work and almost forgot about it. Fired up the laptop for school work and remember for some reason.

Pats cover over, TP 60.

I just hope Brady wins so we can listen to someone make up new excuses why Montana is better.

I don't mind good D, but this game is a stinker so far.
Goff throws a good ball, but he's far from a great QB at this stage.
Brady has been okay at best, so far - without Edelman getting open at will, he'd be lousy so far.

1. Are the Rams even making an effort to cover Edelmann. Nobody within 10 yards of him. Defensive Coordinator FAIL.
2. How many times are the Rams gonna call C.J Anderson up the middle for 2 yards. :(
3. Hard to see a young first time Super Bowl QB coming up on top over Brady in a close game. Goff looks shaky at times.

I find the game quite exciting.

I respect Brady's usual greatness, but he's made several mistakes..a pick, almost another, and a bad fumble (NE recovered). Goff has been shaky at best...one big throw with an amazing toe-tap by Woods. Otherwise, he's running 7 on 7 drills with Edelman, who they can't cover.

Edelman is great and will make his catches but there are times nobody is even trying to cover him. Inexcusable
Wade Phillips game plan had to be centered on containing Edelman. But he shows up with nothing.
Would not be surprised to see a NE blowout in the second half, unless Phillips makes adjustments on Edelman. Won't hold my breath.

Amazing that Rams are only down 3. NE offense totally dominated.

Much the same was said 17 years ago when the young QB was Brady and the veteran was Warner.

Third and 22 and Goff hands it off. Need to try something downfield. They have no confidence in Goff.
No way you're gonna win with that loser mentality.

The under on the jersey number 1st TD scorer pays! Gronk, you big dork...had to stumble instead of rumble into the end zone!

Was reading about the anthem prop most books had the over/under at 1.50. Gladys after she sang the first brave which is the agreed upon end of the song to most people was at 1.49.5. A lot of books paid both out still because its more about suckering people into betting more and getting hooked on these props. Thought it was interesting.

Also since the game was so crappy and nobody even made it in tot he redzone but one time the punters had a day. Hekker had a 65 yard and the pats guy Allen kept pinning them inside the 10.
The 2008 Oregan State football team had two walkons comete for a scholarship. Hekker beat out Allen for the spot and Allen reshirted then went to La. Tech

Well at least they got the MVP right. :D Lackluster game. Defenses were impressive though. QB's not so much.

Looks like most of my prop bets paid off though. I've found my new calling. :)

I called the Patriots, covering the spread and the under. Was way off with my 51 though! 15 would of been more like it :cautious:

I think we were all off on the Total Points. Strange game all in all. Very strange. I think most people go high on Total Points because they hope for a great (i.e high scoring) SB like last year, but really the title games were the climax to the season.

I heard this SB is the lowest scoring of any SB with only one TD scored in the entire game. Defense wins SBs after all! LOL!

Eldelman deserves the MVP honors! He was the “man” for SB 53!

How does the NFL'S highest scoring team, with two friggin weeks to prepare, put up just three points?

Goff was pathetic and nervous. Stupid false start penalty. Taking sacks instead of throwing it away. Macvay play calling was far too conservative...

When a team that is behind hands off on third and 20 in the fourth quarter of a close game, it tells you they have no confidence in their QB. Brady in that same situation would have gone downfield. Have to try something. Maybe you will draw a penalty. Instead the Rams played not to lose. That will never get it done against the best team ever.

Maybe one day Goff/Macvay will mature and win many Super Bowls but today they were hopelessly outclassed by Brady/Belicek. Particularly Belicek.

Why were they relatively few Rams fans in that NFC stadium?

L.A. is the second biggest market but fans have not taken to the Rams. Maybe L.A. market is not really into the NFL.
More into college football.

Reports indicate this was the lowest rated SB in 10 years. Even with a top market team like the Rams.

Patriot Nation is UUUGGGEEE and Brady acknowledged the fans’ influence on the game. The Rams will build a fan base eventually but LA was without NFL ball for two decades. It will take some time and I don’t think it will ever be as rabid as the support in NE or Pittsburgh. LA likes their Lakers and Dodgers so much they will be third fiddle for a long time.

Mind blowing that the #2 market was without an NFL team for 20 years.

That indicates the area is not hungry for pro football. Many hapless rabid Raider fans were trekking 400 miles to see their team.

A big chunk of Pat Nation is made up of bandwagoners. Before Parcells they had so few fans they almost moved to St. Louis.
