Pretty sure already released. My David Lloyd club's shop has it for a couple of weeks already.@Babolat Official
Has the Pure Drive VS been released in Europe? I haven't seen it either at TWE or the UK retailers.

Yours must be a bit posher than mine. All I get is a few overpriced shirts and some goggles on hangers by reception! If you tell me they do demos too, I may have to move.Pretty sure already released. My David Lloyd club's shop has it for a couple of weeks already.

I still can't see it online mind, so suspect either user error on my part (a strong contender) or that your club have jumped the gun by putting it out.
It won’t be Aero Storm based?

They just answered this same question yesterday:Will there be a Roland Garros Pure Aero this year? Any chance of description or pics? (Sure wish you'd used the colors of the Undecima -- it was amazing but the price a bit steep.)
Hi Klhoang,
Yes, we will have a Pure Aero Roland Garros and a Pure Strike Wimbledon for this year. We'll release more info soon
Josh
Not sure to be honest. From what I've heard, they were considering multiple options. I haven't even seen a prototype yet. Our international sales meeting is in late April, and I'm sure we'll know more after that.
You can always ask your local tennis shop for the lightest Aero Plus sample.Congratulations on this New pure Aero 2019 and plus too. It is 100 % better than the previous version. I still wish it was bit lighter though

It doesn't come in plus version however. and why did they make this with smaller head 98 sq inch?? very odd. and why can't you buy 1 racket at a time ? only can buy 2 at a time which costs around $500.I suspect many of us would love to see a new PA VS that is heavily modelled on the 2013 AeroPro Drive. Similar specs but perhaps a tad more flex in the frame ... not too much ... just a tad!

I don't see pure aero VS anywhere on TW website. and will they make the puredrive VS in plus version ?? that might be interesting
I said PA VS as in Pure AERO VS !!! (Pretty sure you've always been able to buy them one at a time.) Yes, no PLUS verson. But no one really cares about that because it is more of a Player's racquet than the standard PA. I don't think the PA VS was ever intended for Doubles.
Very easy to extend its length anyway with a customised Butt-Cap.

Just use to pieces of black electrical tape that is cut in 1/16” wide and place them after Pure Aero VS label and form it like “+”! Then get lifts for your tennis shoes!where is the plus version ??
Congrats , this young gun is playing Great with that new 2019 pure Aero. plus it is great racket.Hi Dags,

You already replied in anothee thread fedace that he is using the vs 16x20. Did you forget already. Gotta start writing down your responses ;-)
Fedace, just to help you along a little bit ...
1/ The Pure AERO and the Pure DRIVE are DIFFERENT racquets.
2/ Babolat has released a 2019 Pure DRIVE VS.
3/ Babolat has NOT released a 2019 Pure AERO VS at this stage.
4/ Felix A-A appears to be using a 2016/17 Pure Aero VS with a 2019 Pure Aero Paint Job.
5/ The 2019 Pure Aero has a 16x19 string pattern.
6/ The 2016/17 Pure Aero VS has a 16x20 string pattern.
7/ The 2019 Pure Aero can be purchased in quantities of one from TW.
8/ The 2019 Pure Aero is available in Plus size fromTW.
I keep testing the Pure aero plus 2019, testing is going great. Feel is so much better than previous aero and ball pocketing has improved 100 %. This isn't my go to racket but I bought one anyway. Only knock on it, it needs to be 0.2-0.3 oz lighter, it would have been perfection if that were case. I speak for the mass market. Not sure to be honest. From what I've heard, they were considering multiple options. I haven't even seen a prototype yet. Our international sales meeting is in late April, and I'm sure we'll know more after that.
To add in the confusion: the pure aero vs is an almost copy of the Aero storm, but stiffer than the original. They say Sock is using that older Aero storm tour. The awkward moment when he is already endorsing the pure aero vs paint job racquet(which will be ridiculously similar to the PA 2019)Hahahaha
You can still buy pure controls secondhand. Not only are they black and red, but a lot cheaper too than new pure strike vs. And do you really think Babolat is going to offer new pure strikes in macho black for the men, and in white for the women? I think this role model suggestion alone is not very 2019. Then there are now official numerous in between sexes in USA, so they could legitically ask for their own colour. Do you really want that, instead of one white racquet that stands out, because no lther brand is offering racquets in white?@Babolat Official couple of quick points....
1) When will there be a new pure strike VS coming out?
2) Please tell your overlords to keep the pure strike VS/ pure aero VS racquets as they are, except just soften the RA on the strike VS back to the pure controls 63RA or so.
3) If Prince and Angell can put twaron/kevlar in their lineup, so can you. Put some twaron in the strike VS and create the BESTEST RACQUET EVER.
PS - can you change the colour too? The all white look is very girly and robs me of valuable testosterone with every swing.....
legitically
Pretty sure they did that with the Pure Controls way back in '01/'03.Put some twaron in the strike VS and create the BESTEST RACQUET EVER.
Even Pure Drives supposedly had kevlar in the layup... but with the tungsten incident no one can be really sure...Pretty sure they did that with the Pure Controls way back in '01/'03.

Good to know. 1 out of 2 then.IIRC, somewhat cut up a Pure Drive, took some samples, tested them, and did confirm the samples contained Aramid fibres.

Also is this one a lot thicker than Syntec pro replacement grip ? Thank you in advance.

I googled it for 10 minutes. ................... NO result that answers my specific questions. Why don't you actually research this for yourself. There are dozens of websites that document the specifications for all of Babolat's Grips. It will only take you 5 minutes to answer your own questions.
I think @Babolat Official has a lot more important things to do with his time than to regurgitate simple facts that are available to all of us.
I would rather he be consulted about really important questions and issues that aren't easily solved by self research. He is providing an extremely valuable service to us by being on here. Please stop abusing it because you are lazy. It would be really unfortunate if he reduced his participation here.

makes no sense. how can Woofer grip that is thicker be lighter in weight . not possibleOh My @Nostradamus, if it is too difficult for you to grasp the power of Google, why are you wasting time with Tennis?
I have a brand new Syntec Pro grip in it's packaging sitting right here in my lap. The back of the package has the printed specs for the Grip.
They are 17.4g (0.61oz) static weight and 1.9mm (0.07 inch) thickness.
You already have the specs for the Woofer grip from the link you provided. So knock yourself out.
Several online tennis stores publish the specs for lots of products. Alternatively, buy one or two for yourself either online or at your local friendly tennis store and you will have the specs.
BTW, the Syntec Pro is probably one of the best tennis grips available. And IMO, THE BEST grip for a Babolat APD, PA or PD. Nothing else comes close.
If you are looking for an alternative grip for comfort reasons, I suggest perhaps you need to look at a different racquet unless you are just a beginner or intermediate club player. A spongy grip will not facilitate advanced strokes or feel when using an APD, PA, PD, or even PS.
Play with it without the bumper guard, use thinner gauge strings and remove the handgrip and use the thin handgrip! Problem solve! Move on now with wanting a lighter PAD VS!Congratulations on this New pure Aero 2019 and plus too. It is 100 % better than the previous version. I still wish it was bit lighter though
I am not sure the Bumper guard comes off ? isn't the grommets and bumper guard one piece on these new 2019 Aeros ?Play with it without the bumper guard, use thinner gauge strings and remove the handgrip and use the thin handgrip! Problem solve! Move on now with wanting a lighter PAD VS!

So what? Each string can be tubed during the stringing process. Reduces the static weight and swing-weight significantly.
