I decided to buy a couple of new tennis shorts and am surprised by the price and the flashy designs of the new men’s shorts. It seems almost all of them have some sort of white or silver piping running down the side of the leg along with mesh in the upper backside and on the inner legs. No additional pockets now with the exception of the two side pockets. I looking for a back pocket that is zippered or an additional side pocket that has zipper on it. I like my shorts to be all one solid color with no 5”+ manufacturers logo on it, just the standard 2”. There is now a 3” cut out at the bottom side of the short to make the shorts look funky and provide more ventilation.
I like to go shopping or to lunch after tennis and with these shorts, I would literately have carry a fanny pack around if I purchased these new men’s tennis shorts below $100.
The one short that I found have does have a back zipped pocket is a Italian brand I never heard of and sells for $250 U.S. It is all one color, no piping, no bottom cut out and is 100% polyester. Perfect in every way except the price!
I may go to Walmart now! LOL!
