Can't wait for all the whining and complaining. Not real tennis, can't wait for grass season, etc. Always a not annoying time of year,

I can't wait! And what's more, I believe that Roger presents the bigger danger to Nadal on clay rather than Djokovic. But whatever goes on, I can't wait to see the Big 3 and all the up and comers on the European red clay!

Looking forward to Monte Carlo. Can't wait for it to start, want to see how Nadal responds, and if Djokovic is up for the challenge. And is Thiem finally ready?

I'm definitely excited to see Roger play on clay again. I hope he is also excited and optimistic.

Federer over Nadal on clay if they meet this year.

Why wouldn't he be?

He did not prioritize IW/Miami for obvious reasons (Nole Slam). He will be out in full force.

About Thiem... well lol. Dude is a good clay courter but fact is, Zverev is above Thiem in the accomplishment metrics on clay (winning big titles, 2 M1000 titles vs. 0 M1000 titles). Let's hope that changes.

PS: Of course, Thiem is a much better CCer than Zverev.

Never forget the time clay tennis almost turned into real tennis and the athletes of the sport of clay tennis threw a hissy fit

I think he will do fairly well. His movement in Miami this week is as good as it has been since the Sunshine double in 2017 imo.

We'll see. The serve is still his main weapon and that will get blunted a lot on clay. There are a lot of matches these days where Federer's serve makes his baseline game look better than it is or saves him outright so he better hope his movement is good is all I can say.

I understand your point of view. I thought the same before, but now I'm a bit more optimistic. Especially considering Djokovic's slump in form and that Nadal isn't the beast he once was. I still don't think Fed will fare well against players like Zverev or Thiem, but I don't think he will do too badly. I expect at least a SF from the clay tournies.

I'm more excited for the clay season than I have been in forever. There's so many question marks.

Were Novak's sunshine struggles just a blip?

Can Rafa do it yet again? Ending the hard court season hurt and be in form for clay?

Can Roger make some noise on the dirt?

Is Thiem confident enough for the next step after finally beating a Big 3 member for his 1st Masters title?

Very curious about Zverev & Tsitsipas too.
