Are next gen players in a competition trying to out cringe each other?

To this day I haven’t finished the video of Shapo rapping on court.

Probably never will.

There’s a limit on the amount of cringe I can handle.

I watched the whole thing and regret it greatly. I say this as a Shapo fan.

Hopefully his friends and staff wont let him go out and do that again o_O

Zverev was fine, doing the smart thing when you've got questionable rhythm of keeping the movements to a minimum. Tsitsipas seemed to be taking the opposite approach. Was he doing a high five dance? Seriously can't look at the guy without seeing him as a bucket full of cringe with some hair on top.

In fairness to him, how was he going to be the center of attention of he wasn't jumping all over the place?

Tsitsipas was funny, no clue what he was doing. Maybe this explains his poor sportsmanship he's a big baby.

What's the problem? Am I the only one who sees no issues with them?
Me neither.
I think more than ever before there is an identity crisis among the youngsters of our generation throughout the world.
If I said that most of the serious movies in the world simply reflect the state of the society to us, it won't be wrong of me.
All the coming of age movies today have kids that have some sort of identity issues. A lot of guys around me have that. In some ways I too have them.
Tsist vlogs are probably a result of these issues.
I don't find them cringeworthy. I find them funny.
He will probably laugh at them too when he grows old.

Exactly. These guys spent their childhood and teens in an age of social media whereas the likes of fedalovic did not have to compete with that. Of course they will all look back at their younger selves and laugh at their silliness if you may call it. We all tend to forget all the silly and idealistic goals we used to have when we were younger.

Let them have fun. If they play great tennis along the way, good for them. We need not mix the two. Besides, I do think that the squeaky clean image that the top three have is actually boring. No one is so goody-goody.

One vid proves that nextGen already has more personality and real character than Excusovic and the Nadal together.
Last time I checked, Next Gen has zero slams, while Rafa and Nole have 32 between them. They can take their "personality and character" and shove it until they break through and topple the big 3.

I don't think so. You BS. When the 'youngsters' deliver I might consider it.

Excusovic, or Djokovic and Nadal won so many majors. Do not be so stupid. (n)(n)(n)
They won over the invisible generation, Raonic, Nishikori, Potro, Cilic, and others of that failed and injury prone generation which never took over the game.

Not impressive.
