My newest paint job using Hydro dip

This is another stick I got “ dipped last week “ it looks similar but this one is more candy apple . Which is what I wanted to begin with !
Looks way better in person artist affixed font work and automotive clear lacquered the whole frame for extra shine and durability :)
I’d give the artist an A + this time
Cost -70 USD..
Dallas Texas . I ship her my rackets as she lives about an hour away . Once there done I drive over and pick them up !
I used black string lux smart this time _with a white stencil ink which is pointless . Cuz ALL WHITE INK IS AWFUL DONT WORK CUZ ITS WATER COLOR , not ink ! Ugh oh well .

Whoa, that looks freakin good. Did she get the weight right and everything? All the specs are unchanged? Nice

Very nice!
Could you please post a picture of the point which the motifs does not fits exactly one to another, if any?
I mean the point where the one end of the paper has to join the other end... Is that point visible?
Could be under the grommets? Are you aware about that?

Sorry man the film covers it just like a paint dip works kinda . Simplicius I assume is speaking of any seam lines which there are none.
Sometimes the artist has to dip one side flat in then pull out dry and do the other. She didn’t do that this time . She just dipped in and pulled it out of the vat.
The grommets are pulled and the grips taken off ,
She even dipped the buttcap!
As far as the black grommets u see in the pic? There are none that was painted black to give the illusion of grommets ...
I DO NOT use grommets

Beautiful(y) whats underneath the paint? Another Club Pro?
Hey old eballlay German friend translator ( inside jokes)
This is actually a team pro..but after my mods they all are the same stick .
This one is perfect . Hate to play with it .. unfortunately know one gets it where I play and teach l, they say” whoa dude your racket is like an old prestige, Sampras clued he wants his prestige back , ( rolled eyes )” and the answer to your question? No I don’t have the energy to tell them Sampras played with a black wilson 85 p-staff

I love the classic paint jobs.
Me too ! Especially the old prestige’s and the pt tour 630 . But there is just something magical about the deep dark red of a head prestige . As far as mine are concerned I don’t realky like the paint jobs ..but the electric blue head club pro is one
@teachingprotx
the "font work", is the tricky part, im thinking
do you know what type of material she uses for that? its not hand painted right??
No I do not but I’m gonna ask !

How is it that you don't use grommets? Why? Ho does it benefit your game play?

I have found the cheapest and most affordable way to change your rackets color was to sand off material and smooth as possible and then use automotive car paint in a can . Thin coats over and over until you get pure coverage . Then wait 3 weeks to dry on a roof in sun . Pray for no rain

long, long time ago, I tried to paint a cheapo racquet with spray paint,,
it took me a long time, several days to get the color right (multiple layers and drying times),, and it looked like poopoo when It was done
the drying was an issue also, floating particles stuck to fresh spray painted almost in no time, leaving a big mess
the multiple layers also bubbled and looked thick, and truly poopoo looking
the stickers I printed on normal paper, and tried to use for the fonts, where tooooo tick for this type of project
my point::
unless you've tried to do this yourself,, you really donot appreciate how good this picture/finished really is
@teachingprotx my hats off to the person whos done these racquets for you!!

Agreed
The artist :
Kim Ellis does a great job !
And for $70 well worth it .
Consider time and materials
Sand paper $10
Paint $20 for auto paint plus clear coat and primer
$12 for
Water slide or vinyl cut decal papers for font .
Time 2 hrs at $10 per hour for Sanding and printing font , and primer and paint .
And 3 weeks dry time .
Total - 62 dollars being generous .
Or call Kim for $8 additional Bux ..
Dig it !!!:)
