@Meles... now stop trolling so outrageously. Shapo poses absolutely ZERO threat to Djokovic on any surface, especially clay. Hopefully that will change some day, but that day hasn't yet come.
Shapo is dangerous and just the tip of the spear/iceberg for Nole.

Fear not. The Gasquet against Fedr hasn't much chance against Chardy. So... Nadal/Chardy, a 'little' better, no? :p
Just a little ;) Probably will be Chardy, the way Gasquet was playing against Fed. Looked like he still had a few nagging problems from his previous injury.

Huh, looks like Roger has a decent chance to reach Rafa in the semifinals. That would be a big match. If Roger beats Nadal on clay I think that has huge repercussions on the H2H.

Where are all the Rafa-haters? Usually by now there are two pages of them whining about Rafa's cupcake draw.
Not this time. Nadal has a tough draw from hell--need to beat Thiem/Fed/Djoko back to back to back to win the title.

One exception doesn't change in the most competitive prime of the big three, from 2008 to 2012, Fed and Djokovic were almost always playing in the SFs. And USO 2017.

Do you have confidence that Nadal can overcome a tough draw on his favorite surface?

Stringer I'm watching Sinner, another smaller slowish Italian. Not amazed, but I'm watching.;) I can see why you favor the youngerer one armed Musseti (had to watch him on low quality feed). Sinner looks about 13 years old going on 6, so I suppose he might have a late growth spurt. Rublev was more impressive at the same age by far.

He’s got more fight in him and plays smarter than Money. Would Rubylev have come back from an opening breadstick to bake one of his own and then win 4 games in a row from match game down???
