How did we come to this?
WWE Creative Team? Why not hire/use/consult current talent to create stories? How did we come to this?
Too many guys to keep happy and keep involved. Then between NXT and a couple of the bigger 205ers they got even more. How do you keep them all in the mix and happy?
I honestly feel they got too much talent in the fold. Let some of them go and if they catch fire in AEW or ROH or wherever try to bring them back. I'm hoping AEW works because I think the business needs competition.
So many promotions today. Many of the guys in WWE are 10-15 yr vets from Indy shows. Not sure that they fit the family friendly WWE.
But they sure fit in at NXT!
I'm fine for dumb stupid stuff (Santino was entertaining) but the superweiner gimmick is beyond dumb.
YAY It's finally happening. As usual with me today and my fandom, it's all about nostalgia.
''One of the most legendary lost matches will finally be widely distributed. A 1986 tryout match between Bret Hart and Tom Magee led to the latter being hired to WWF and thought to be the next big star. However, the wrestler wound up disappointing the front office in subsequent matches and fizzled out shortly thereafter.
WWE will air the match, alongside a documentary called “Holy Grail: The Search for WWE’s Most Infamous Lost Match” on the WWE Network directly following WWE RAW on Monday, May 13.
WWE.com posted the following, announcing the broadcast as well as providing some background about the match:
One of the greatest mysteries in sports-entertainment history has been found and you’ll be able to see it along with a documentary explaining the story on WWE Network after Raw on Monday.
On Dec. 6, 1986, Bret “Hit Man” Hart faced Tom Magee in an untelevised tryout match in Rochester, New York. After the bell sounded and Magee’s hand was raised, he was labeled the next Hulk Hogan, but since the bout was untelevised, footage became lost over time … until today.
VHS tape traders tried in vain to chase down the cassette of Hart vs. Magee for three decades to no avail, but it was recently discovered as part of “Hit Man’s” tape library and is available Monday after Raw on WWE Network. Check out this classic match and get the full story on how the tape was discovered, what happened to Tom Magee, and much more by watching Holy Grail: The Search for WWE’s Most Infamous Lost Match, streaming Monday after Raw.
Excited to finally check it out?''
I'll have a look when I'm on again.Does WWE have thee loser leaves town match in Memphis between Randy Savage v The King, Jerry Lawler?
Nikki Cross is normal now
Taker and GBerg no thanks.
Raw was good and for the most part made sense. Sami with the briefcase would be great.
Still on the fence about face miz.
Sane nikki cross no thanks. But being in cahoots with Alexa makes it seem OK for now.
I was all in on taker back in the day. Bought a long black trench coat and everything.
Them to together = bad. Taker is just losing the battle with father time and I'm still waiting on a good Gberg match. He was an INDY darling before such a thing existed. Show up get your high spots in, leave, get paid. Story telling be damned.
Taker alestair could be really good. Alestair has those sorta dark undertones that would play nicely with the whole taker persona.
And if anyone could coax a good match outta GBerg I would put my money on Ricochet.
Killing The Dead Man!Yeah Taker can go with the right opponent but they are killing him with this HHH/Cena/Goldberg stuff. Just give him someone remotely athletic, sheesh! lol. A match with Aleister would be gold. Or at least silver
Kofi should hold the title until at least Summerslam.
Good for AEW. Ill be curious to see how the stats they tend to show will work. Apparently they are supposed to keep a tally of Wins and Losses. And somehow track damage done and other things. Time will tell if that matters.

NXT was pretty decent Saturday night.
Started off Street Profits vs Outliers (Moss and some Dan Matha guy) managed by some other guy that was TNA Straus or something. Matha is a big MFer and was pretty decent generating heat teams was bascailly put together to see what he can do. Profits won when the skinny guy attempted a cross body, matha caught him and the not skinny profit rolled him up and the ref counted three while both guy were pinning him. Weird ending but Matha got to complain that it took guys and fans booed him more. Again he is a big MFer. And the skinny street profit guy is the real deal. The not skinny street profit guy literally only has a job because of the skinny guy.
Next was Punishment Martinez vs Keith Lee. match was decent Keith tried a hurincana but didn't quite jump long enough and he landed on head kinda funny I htough he was hurt but they pressed on. Finsh came by both men exhausting themselves, Lee hit a headbutt and knocked himself out, matrinez KO'd fell on top of him to get the win. It was a pretty good match.
Bazler vs Catanzaro was next. Bazler did really good to carry that match, Kacy got a few pieces of offense in but is generally really bad. She is so freaking small the ropes do not move and her body makes no sound when hitting the ring. I bet she doesn't weigh 80 lbs. Bazler choked her out and held it long to get some cheap heat.
Kushida vs Gulak submission match was next. decent match kushida won. Weird having no pin fall attempts though.
Lorcan and Burch vs Oreilly and Strong. these guys work great together and the match was freaking awesome. Some late interruption casued a distraction and Orcan scored a cheap roll up. Terrible house show finish, felt like a tv match (more on his later).
Shirai and Laree vs Shafir a Duke were next Bazler in stree4t clothes was standing on ramp watching. match was going OK shira was set up for the moonsault on Duke and bazler puller out. sharia then moonsaulted to the outside on bazler. DQ was called brawling consumed outside with bazler and shirai mixing it in the crowd. Another TV style finish.
Triple threat for NA Title Velveteen vs Cole vs Riddle. riddle flings his slippers in the stands and the staff collect them up. Booooo lets the fans keep the shoes man. make some chepo original bros slippers the throw of into the crowd. Great match weird ending. Cole hit a couple superkicks on Riddle then shining wizard went for the cover dream dropped the elbow on both but then jumped over riddle to pin cole. Protecting riddle a little too much on that one. but the match was great and Velveteen is over AF.
Later found out they were taping a few of the matches for TV. Orcan/Burch vs Era. Kushida vs Gulak, and womes tag matches were taped. which explains the endings in the two matches to build up a fued.
