Sit tight for another 18hrs. Dont move a muscle.

Federer doesn’t have the stamina to play 4+ hours, that too on the dirt.

After all these years, we Fed fans (even with low expectations) still get nervous before draws in slams. He's certainly due for a cakewalk draw after all the brutal ones he's waded through in recent slams. It must be Thursday in France by now... What time is the draw??? Getting impatient....
Yes, it is absolutely time for a Fed cakewalk! Brutal has definitely been the trend. Regardless, still close to 4 hours, even though the fourth was a bit of a drubbing from 'Dal. His match against Tsitsipas was close to four hours, that was is in Australia where the courts have been sped up, at least compared to 2009-2013. I think if his returns misfire, he will have no option other than to coast on serve, meaning tiebreakers. You and all the other fans have seen his return game take a drastic hit compared to just as little as 2 years back, so not exactly a negligible option that partaking in long matches is a wash. Let's see. He's not going to play any 4 hour matches unless it's the final. He will win or lose any earlier match long before it reaches 4 hours. The 2011 FO final went 3 hours and 40 minutes and it would have been 3 hours had Nadal not been allowed to take 35-40 seconds between many points.

In before:
Kyrgios
Cuevas
Berrettini
DelPo
Tsitsipas
Djoko
Nadalito
This was a star-studded party with heads of state, actors and billionaires. But Roger was one more time the main draw of the event. It's not just the tennis.I didn't see if anyone had posted this earlier? Mirka looking great!

No worries. He'll take him down easy, for Mirka's sake.Lol fred gonna draw Stan in R1.
I just want the tournament to freakin' start.
Seems that to me, too. But, everything takes longer on clay...is it just me, or is the build up to french open much longer than the build up to other slams. Obviously grass season is the shortest, but even the road to the USO doesn't feel this long. I feel like I've been ready for the french open to start forever now.
I hope not. But, it wouldn't surprise me.Right now they're pulling out all the stops to help Nadal win another. Look out for a joke RG and especially Wimbledon draw for Nadal.
But not before Stan wins the first set...and then collapses. No worries. He'll take him down easy, for Mirka's sake.
Hope springs eternal, hell a few lightning strikes, a cattle stampede, some tainted shellfish ... you just never knowLadies, gents, and cute pets, I present to you the 2019 RG champion's authoritative hitting in his first practice session, in 1080p! :

I know.No doubt! I mean, Fedfans persevered thru almost 5 years for #18, and mainly bc of a peak-Ultron. Fedr was older-er in 2012, and he's still older-er now. But Ultron is no longer peak. It's only been one year since Fedr's last triumph, and he's still playing well at almost 88yo.

That would be no problem. Stan is clearly out of shape and fat. Fed would beat him with little trouble.Lol fred gonna draw Stan in R1.
Fed had some interesting comments about Djoker and Rafa yesterday:
“Djokovic's beaten him many times on clay, beat him once in Paris as well. He's maybe the only guy right now that has the chance to stand up against Nadal. He's not going to beat Nadal on clay like some other players being really aggressive and just hitting winners through Nadal. He can stand up there and beat him physically which maybe he's the only guy that can actually to do it on clay. The French Open is going to be the most difficult Grand Slam grand to win I think. But if he plays his best tennis as he did in Melbourne in the final against Rafa, [where] he just crushed him then of course he can beat him on clay as well.”

My prediction is an SF finish for Fed and he will go down in 4 sets against Rafa in AO 2012 style. Just saying.
I worry about Schwartzman if that's his opponent in round 4 but he should be able to make it through the first 3 rounds without killing himself. It's too early to guess beyond that.Actual draw -

This has been the case since about 2010.^ The organisers don't want Fed winning more and running out his slam lead, they want this "slam race battle for goathood" storyline and Fed has been threatening to ruin it. They got worried after he won two in 2017 and the other guys were at sea
I'm never one to believe in conspiracy theories, but I actually have come to believe this. Nadal's draws at this point are predictably laughable. And Fed's are unduly difficult, bordering on insanely hard (AO 2017, USO 2017).the narrative is becoming abundantly clear: Majors race at any cost. AO 2017 also wasn't supposed to be Federer's, considering the draw, but he a kind of disappointed them, same for AO 2018 and in the past several years Nadal received unprecedented draws already several times, It is almost like they are afraid that he won't get "there" on time for the final Feuerwerk.

Admittedly I was late to the party but have finally arrived. Five years ago I would never have entertained the thought of a rigged draw, now I accept it as practically a fact.Me thinking before the draw "Nadal is gonna a get a bunch of nobodies so that he is fresh as a daisy for the SF and F". After the draw, me go "Voila". No surprises there.
