I am the Hitting Partner & Stringer of JeanF. The Tecnifibre Ice Code strings up very easy. It don't notches and it's very easy to weave.
Don't pull knots to hard or it might snap. I heard that from other stringers. From stringing, I found that it has quite a unique feel it's down the middle at stringing feel between Luxilon Alu Power and Luxilon 4G. Its feels stiff at first but it doesn't lose the sound or hear death. A string that hears death during stringing was Luxilon 4G. The Ice Code does make a great sound during stringing even if it was stiff but it was very responsive. It is a kind of magic that I have not seen yet even tough I strung around 5000 frames in 3 years
.
Now it's up too the technical data. I strung up JeanF's racket the Tecnifibre 300XTC 16x19 with an ATW-Pattern (2-knots), Thursday 23 may at 25/24kg (55/53lbs) and it measured 34DT on a ERT-300. Today I measured the DT again and it was 31DT. So it lost only 3DT in 8 days that is exceptional because the Ice Code lost 1DT in 1 hour after stringing. Today I strung JeanF's Tecnifibre 305XTC 18x19 with an ATW-Pattern (2knots) at 24/23kg (53/51lbs) and it measured 35DT on a ERT-300.
I strung my own 4 Vcore Pro's 97 310 Customized with Tecnifibre Ice Code at 25/24kg (55/53lbs) with power pads (4-knots). The DT was 36.
The knot I use is the Wilson Pro Knot and I did string on International Tennis Tournaments
The unstrung specs of my rackets are:
337,4 Gram
315 Swingweight
30,7cm Balance
Note: it is measured on a Head Tuning Centre that I use for customizing. The rackets are measured with a Leather grip on them and without an overgrip&strings so unstrung specs. I use lead under the bumper guard and at 3&9 + I use silicones in the handles of my frames.
The string I use normally is Solinco Hyper G 16L at 24/23kg. But I have tested a lot of strings the last year like Yonex SP9 & SP9N later known as Poly Tour Strike, Smart, Cyclone, 4G, Element, Alu Power (colors & purple), Ytex Quadro twist & Square-X, Solinco Confidential 2.0, HyperG & Tour Bite, All Grapplesnake offerings, Kirschbaum offerings, Signum Pro offerings, RPM Blast & Rough, Pro Hurricane tour. Too name a few
I will play tonight with the Tecnifibre Ice Code and I am happy to share my findings!
