Is a comment Kyrgios left on Shapovalov status at Instagram that shows picture of young tennis player with Djokovic after their training match.

My question for people here that understand slang well - what does it mean ? I have read at one news website that Kyrgios asked Shapovalov with that sentence did he please Djokovic oraly

Djokovic should try to beat Nick at least once. Kyrgios simply lacks respect for Djokovic. I wouldn't be surprised if he beats Djokovic again to lead the head to head 3-0 soon.

Nick can't take down nole if the later bothers to return more than 50% of nick's 1st serves,
He's more of a tanker than he was in 2017

Novak vs Nick is imperative. The child needs to be taught a lesson!

I pray that they are scheduled in the same quarter at Wimbledon

I've never heard the phrase used in that way. If Kyrgios had said "Did you blow him up?" then yeah, that might have been taken to mean that.

Lieutenant Kyrgios can't get to the bottom of this case. He's losing it. No doubt he sees Novak Djokovic under his bed at night.

I understood it as " Did you (game wise) beat him up ?"
You are right but it's more like 'did you destroy him'? You chop up meat or salami. It's a parallel or allegory. It depends.

Nick just being silly again. I don't understand his obsession with Novak, lol. You can chop up your meat with an axe. Now, I've noticed some pics of Dr. Hanibal Lector and I'm scared :-D

If Novak "tries too hard to be loved" Nick tries too hard to be hated. He comes off like he wants to be seen as the new bad boy of tennis like guys like Nastase, Connors, and McEnroe. The difference is those guys loved the game and worked there butts off to get what they earned. Nick is such a waste of talent, and I feel bad for anyone who's spot he's taking up every tournament he enters.

Nick is helping Novak become more relevant and make him look good.

Behind the scenes they are good buddies that planned all this scheme.

Nick has some srs problems with Novak and I mean serious because this is borderline obsession at this point but I don't get this guy, there are pictures of them two training together so surely Nick didn't start to hate Novak just for the last year? On a normal healthy level you can't go to one extreme just like that.

Well, weren’t you the one who started threads for the last two weeks about irrelevant things concerning Nick ??

You are still hurt from the Acapulco loss and nick’s comments about Rafa being a sore loser

Lol, you could not be more confused.

I have asked people who are good with slang, someone who could be a mate with Kyrgios and understand his expressions. Because when I read it in news, I had to check it out and Urban Dictionary confirms it: https://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=Chop Me Up

It may be an Australian expression - I'm English and certainly have never heard it. Of course it may be a phrase that young people use rather than the middle-aged.

Unless your threads were deleted you should be able to use the search function.

Nick's interview tirade against Nole is comparable to this lol? You are a very dim fellow. But I never suggested that this thread isn't worthy of having been created in the first place. My post "It's an indictment of the world that we live in that this is considered news." is not meant to suggest that this thread shouldn't exist, but rather a commentary on where we are as a society.

And for the record, I have nothing against Nick lol and Nick threads get strong ratings. You boiling down everything into fan loyalty and your lack of understanding of nuance are sad.

C'mon dude. It's there. I've heard it so many times. The thing is that Australians tend to shorten up everything and come up with some silly stuff. I find it funny. They abbreviate everything.

Monday is 'mondy', Waiter is a 'servy'. The hell, I don't even know how to spell it. Vegetarian is a 'veggie'. What is 'Straya'? I had no freaking clue but I learnt :giggle:. Acadaca? I was like what? 'Aha, I'm dying'. It's hilarious.
