You are right. It has also caught my attention. However, the color - bright purple - matches perfectly a pair of wristbands that will become available this fall.

The wristbands match the caps. So, the color of the shoe sole is wrong.

RCD Mallorca won the match and secured their promotion to the 2019–20 La Liga. Rafa was happy:

A bit late, but need to say it.

A MASSIVE congratulations to Nadal and all his great fans on getting the Dirty Dozen in Paris. The guy is unreal, and was the deserved winner. I know there is a lot of talk about the conditions and scheduling, but that doesn't take anything away from Nadal's supreme dominance there. And what was so special was how he won so much of that match in the forecourt with some great feel and touch around the net, anyone who says Nadal is a moonballer really hasn't watched him play. Handskills rival some of the best out there. 18 slams. We are very lucky that we are witnessing this all as it happens, generations from now will only hear about these legends, we lived through it.

Love him or hate him, there is only one Rafa Nadal, The King.

Best wishes to Rafa for Wimbledon 2019 :)

Personally if he doesn't win I am hoping for a brand new grand slam winner, such as Dominic Thiem or for Sasha Zverev to finally figure out how to play five set grand slam matches or Tsistsipas or Coric or Goffin or so many others! :) Of course I want Rafa to win though! :)

Does anyone know how I can watch Hurlingham matches here in US? I have Tennis TV and Tennis Channel subscription but I don't think they are showing it.

Edit:
Nevermind. Just saw @clayqueen post above. They will Facebook Live it and can be watched streaming from their website. Thanks for the info!

I hear nadal lost quite badly 6-3 6-3 in about an hour

I wouldn't read too much into that. First match on grass since last year, and it's an exhibition. I've watched the 2nd set, and yes he lost the match but he had some nice rallies with good groundstrokes and also a couple of very nice aces. The serve seems to be working nicely, and it's an exhibition so he's not gonna try that hard. He was all smiling after the match point with the reporter, he seems happy and in good spirit and form.

Remember last year he lost the exhibition match against Pouille and still came out and slayed at Wimbledon a week later ;) I wouldn't worry at all.

Hmm I don't like the sound of 6-3, 6-3 exo or not.
Weren't you okay with Pouille loss last year though MN? Exhos have never been an ideal indicator of performance. His serves were good, he was comfortable on court and that's pretty much what the take should be here. I would have loved for him to score the W but it is what it is.

Cilic broke Rafa twice in the 1st set and Rafa broke him once then Rafa got broken once in the 2nd set. Cilic didn't get the memo that it was an exho, he kept serving aces.
Yeah, Marin just needed it more considering his poor results this year and he played it like an actual ATP match.

He looked great in the Pouille match, haven't seen the highlights yet but I can't imagine him looking great from the scoreline :p

See the highlights then ;) - you couldn't possibly tell him grass form from Pouille match either btw. He wasn't redlining his game there too.

I watched part of the match and it was not that exciting. The grass had not previously been played on... or if so, not very much. It was in very good shape - not worn at all with no bare patches.... Just right for slipping... Saving energy or not, playing full-out on that 'juicy' surface would have been silly.
