.. and I don't expect him to be in the Wimbledon final this year. You heard it here first.
Or the easiest. No one till now has mentioned it. Find his draw to be the most straightforward and predictable. He was a shoe In before the draw. Now it's probably already on Wiki.
I mean Tsits and Anderson? He crushed an in form Anderson last year (not in form now). Tsits? Before this draw, people were talking about him being weak on grass, and for the most part, his form has proved this to be true.

OP didn’t even bother with a projected path. [emoji58]

That is a lot of cringe-worthy video.

First round is really difficult? That's a joke. hE has 3 wins in the last 7 years at wimbledon.Inform Anderson that played 5 sets back to back with Muller and Isner(26-24 5th). His draw is easy but your arguments are "weak".
First round its really difficult. QF against Tsitsi or Medvedev would be tricky. Anderson wont reach the SF after the surgery. I dont think that Djokovic would reach the final, he seems mentally tired just like in 2016

Now I forgot about Anderson last year, but he is definitely not in form this year either. Tsits/Med can be tricky, but not difficult.
At wimbledon he is very, very weak. In 14 years he has reached the 3rd round 3 times and 4th/QF once (8 years ago). Is 13-14 at Wimbledon. This is his worst overall slam.Kohlschreiber is traditionally dangerous opponent, and certainly probably one of the highest ranked players to meet in the R1 of a Major. He is no slouch on grass either.

Maybe he can pull of an Istomin. And that reflects his overall position in the game both as ranking and as titles. He isn't a world beater, nor is he a top player, but as a R1 hurdle it is a pretty high bar to clear. Djokovic will have to be very sharp from the get go, otherwise it can get messy, and having to be sharp from the get go will take its toll later in the tournament.
Maybe he can pull of an Istomin.
FAA is still so young and he can go out earlier. Even if he Plays Novak it will be too much to handle for him.
Tsitsti/Med is indeed tricky but it wouldn't surprise me at all to see them go out earlier than that.
Kohli as 1st round should be no worries but he could snatch a set and be competitive for a bit. Not someone you wanna play in the first round.
Semis is looking good IMO. All three of them are having issues and you haven't heard mich about Rao and Anderson this year. Watch out for someone unexpected in the semis.
All in all, the draw couldn't be better for Djovak. He should be satisfied with this. He escaped the dangerous first week opponents like Kyrgios, Tsonga, Cilic.

On paper this looks tough, but these players are either unproven or in bad formR1 Kohlschreiber
R2 Kudla
R3 Mayer/Lajovic
R4 FAA/Dimitrov
QF Tsitsipas/Medvedev
SF Anderson/Khachanov/A.Zverev
F Federer/Nadal

This is a golden chance for Djokovic to at least make the final

Well, we'll see.Berrettini is also in his part of the draw, as is Lopez etc. Really, there isn't a player that can be more unpredictable than those guys, and if one have understood something from the whole fixing of draws/favours towards the top players is that they thrive on predictability.

Nishikori is going to come out of that section. Fed won't have to worry about Isner or BerrettiniBerrettini is in Fed's quarter. Pretty much the toughest draw Federer got.
Novak Crinjovic. He can be cringey at times, let’s hope his W run won’t be.
Well, we'll see.
Do you reckon this is all a setup for #21?
Nishikori is going to come out of that section. Fed won't have to worry about Isner or Berrettini
There's no such word as, "cringey." And if it were to be a word, it would mean that Djokovic does a lot of cringing himself.
You know Nishi will have played 65 sets by then.Nishikori is going to come out of that section. Fed won't have to worry about Isner or Berrettini
"Informal" means it's not a real word. It violates basic grammar rules. You do not use the "y" suffix to refer to inducing something in somebody else.

It's a tennis forum, not a literature forum. Let people use informal words if they want.
Precisely. He'll be a walking corpse by the time he reaches FedYou know Nishi will have played 65 sets by then.

He's made the QFs 4 Slams in a row. Pretty impressive consistency if you ask me. Only Djokovic and Nadal have matched this. That assumes that he will reach Fed.

I will take Tsitsi and Anderson as a more formidable opponent pair than Thiem and Cilic on the grass at Wimbledon.
If Tsitsi's (improving) form and game on grass is weak, what shall we say about Thiem?
BTW, Cilic has been also in terrible form this year, not getting past the R16 in the tournaments, so, right now I consider him less of a thread than I normally would.
They can use any informal words they want except that one. My one mission in life is to put an end to that faux-word.
Would you have preferred, if Djokovic had Nadal's draw, and Nadal had Djokovic's draw?
Please, no answers like "it is what it is".
