Verdasco with Radical OS

Did he change racquet a lot? Interesting pros do that.

Yes, he was on tour with a TF frame for a long time. He changed to a Yonex frame during the South American swing a few years ago. The Yonex, a beautiful frame, lasted a week. He then moved to TF for a month, then to Dunlop for a bit and finally to Head.

Others please correct as I may have missed a frame or two. :)

There was a period with the Babolat Aero Pro Drive as well.

Didn´t he won a tournament with that Yonex? I think he played great with it.

But he still uses his trusted Big banger original strings?
Maybe he is going to play serve and volley on Wimbledon, then a bigger racquet makes sense.

Anybody catch Santoro playing dubs with Haas against Nick and Shap ? It looked like he was using the Radical PWR or something.

No, he’s playing with his PT113B
Dont know what that means. Did you count?
Its 18x19 strings and the head shape looks rather large. Why else would he change from his previous boring black paintjob to the paintjob of a racquet from 2018. If he did to promote a new Head racquet, than it would make more sense to use actual paintjobs.

Back when this thread was started back on June 12th and when Fever Tree championships at Queen’s Club was happening Verdasco was still using his PT113B in the tournament. I’m sorry you missed watching any of his matches at Queen’s Club.

It’s only this week that Verdasco is playing in a tournament with a different racquet.

He's not using that frame at Eastbourne

Yes, Head used the Ti. Radical Oversize mold and not the the original Radical Trisys 260 Oversize Mold.
Does it matter? The original POG has been in different molds too! The thing that disqualifies is for me are those leather or cork "power"pads in the throat. His durable 1.30 BBO strings dont need those gimmicks. lol

FYI it’s leather. The version of mold that Agassi used was the Radical Trisys 260 Oversize.

Probably Alu Power Ice Blue, I saw that Nicolas Jarry also started using it.
Honestly it seemed to me a little bit bluer that the ice
I have been using the ice and verdasco's string had a deeper hue like the Kb pro evolution, at least that's what it seemed like on tv
But since I haven't had the new alu power in front of I can't be sure

man how can some of yall be so wrong about this? the proof is right up there in post 27
Well if that's really the case it sure is interesting that he picked up a frame that most pros wouldn't even dream of trying
I did get two of these recently so I clearly understand the appeal of these frames eh eh
