As previous thread was deleted, I’ve decided to make it myself, now in more appropriate way. :)

I do believe Bull will win but not with particular confidence. Roger has more than a small chance.

Federer needs to serve huge to win, as Nadal is returning so great. Nadal destroyed Querrey in 3 sets and broke his serve 6 times. Querrey had made 100 aces before facing Nadal, Federer has made less than 50 aces so far. In fact, Nadal (47) has made more aces than both Federer (42) and Djokovic (40) this Wimbledon, which is a surprising stat.

Undoubtedly, the grass is slower nowadays than in 2006-2008, which favors Nadal. But Federer won Wimbledon 2017 when the court had a similar speed than in 2019. So Federer has proved that he can win with this speed.

I'm picking Nadal in 4, but Federer can win if he has a clutch performance.

This match makes me sad Bc I think it’s the last time we will ever see the 2 greatest players in history battle it out in the semis or finals at Wimbledon.
What's sadder is that neither Federer nor Nadal will be any closer to winning Wimbledon no matter which of them goes through. Nobody is going to beat Djokovic on this slow surface in the final. That's the reality.

You might be right. I never count Federer out though after what I saw from him against Djokovic in Roland garros 2011

Djokovic buries Bautista Agut 6-1, 6-2, 6-1 in the other semifinal which will be played first. And both Nadal and Federer will go into their own semifinal scared when they see the elite level that Djokovic is playing at. Nobody will want to play Novak in the final.

Can't believe this is actually happening. Wow. 11 years later.
If it is only half as good as the 2008 one, it will be good enough.
Now all we need is 1 meeting at USO. Let's go.
In the final, hopefully. After Federer finally revenges Djokovic for that 2011 SF. ;)

If Djokovic plays first and through into the final, and that too in imperious form, I will be very interested to see if that plays a part at the start of this match, with both knowing what awaits them.

If Rafa is gonna win this and lose to Djoko in the final, whats the point? A loss in a final again to Djoko would be demoralizing for Nadal. If Djokovic is gonna end up beating either, then I hope Fed wins.

Rafa fans are torn as are Fed fans. Who will win this semfinal only to go on to be destroyed by Novak in the final? The only confidence Nadal fans have is his epic Wimbledon match from last year against a Novak who was still not at his best. Novak is better now. Nobody is going to beat him in the final. And even worse, Sam Querrey had numerous BP chances on Nadal's serve. What do you think Novak is going to do to him?

That’s a good point. I think Nadal would probably be more nervous about meeting Djokovic than Fed. But I’m not sure it’ll end up affecting the match at all. We’ll see.

Nadal in 4 close sets: 3-6, 7-5, 7-6, 6-4.

If Federer serves well, he definitely has a chance. Nadal has to serve well himself and not throw up those weak 2nd serves as he did against Querrey. And yeah, the BH DTL needs to be firing.
In general, Rafa has to play better than he did against Querrey/Sousa. And I think he can do that.

I guess the real question is what happens in the final. Based on what I've seen, both Fed or Nadal will get thrashed by Djokovic in straights.

Djoko has a habit of peaking in slam finals outside French Open! Plus, he knows Nadals game well and how to exploit it better than anyone else.

We shall see. I just think you have to play the matches. Nole is the favorite like always but nadal always fight. I wish fed would be in the final but he always seems to have so many up and downs against novak.

It'd also be interesting to see the effect if the unthinkable upset happened. Surely it would galvanize Fedal into thinking the title is theirs for the taking. It would turn the Fedal match into the real final.
