If the Yonex 18x20 ends up being less than 325 swingweight or the stiffness is 65 or higher then I'll lean towards the Gravity Pro instead. I'm not sure I see the new Yonex 18x20 having a lower stiffness than the Gravity Pro. It'll probably all come down to swingweight really because the rest of the specs between the two are close. The 97 sq in of the Yonex vs the 100 on the Head don't matter much to me.

Looking around for a release date online. Anyone seen one in their local shop yet? None of these at TW yet either. I presume it’s coming before the us open

The only reason i gave up on my vcore was because the vibration gave me shoulder and elbow pains. If this new dampenig sistem really works, i will need to look at them one more time.

Yep. I think on the Yonex site it even states 8/23.

I hated it, then I loved it. Now I don’t know what to think because I’m not sure if those pictures are doing it justice. Is it glossy metallic green with gold like the old Prince classic? Is it matte green or black? I think we need to see this one in the stores before you can pull the trigger.

Usually, a gloss finish will indicate the player is using a different mold under the paint. The racket looks to be a matte finish, like the Tour G, Duel G, VCP, and now Emerald. Hasn't been a Tour line in gloss since the red VCORE Tour before the Tour G.

Yeah, couldn't see the specs of the other frames. The dealer waits until embargoes are lifted and then posts some specs. I should reference his page but they might be a 'competitor' to TW so might be against board rules to mention them overtly. It was cheaper for me to buy frames from them compared to tennisonly - free matching service included

I recently bought a new Wilson 6.1 95 and a Head Graphene 360 Extreme Pro (both sold now), and the pale in comparison with Yonex's when it comes to build quality and QC. The actual implementation of the graphics (how they are printed on, and what paint aso) on both, look like cheap toys in comparison to the Yonex's. Used to be a Prince and Wilson fan, but now I'm Yonex all the way.

it's a dream come true. I've been holding out getting a new vcore 330 because they increased the stiffness on the last two. Sick color and perfect flex. I'm in love.

Goddamnit Stan just got broken as I am typing this.

I will not look forward to the wait list for demos on all TW. Coming from 16x20 I am curious what will be better for me, the 16 or 18 mains. Just make the top cross optional, Chung style.

Isn't the beam width on that frame different though? Idr, but I thought it was a taper beam or variable beam width. Where does one find the NOS though?

That’s as close I got at Cinci... [emoji80]but for what it’s worth, looked like his old 95 sq. in. with long strips of lead on the side. Lloyd Harris was playing with what looked like the same stick but in an EZone paintjob?..
