I got mine in hand today. Pure strike 98 16/19. Weight and balance are on point but swingweight is noticeably higher than the P17, on my stick the SW should be 330+. The TW review is on point, the ball stays longer than the 2nd gen, more close to the 1sr gen pure strike. Very muted feel with surprisingly decent control (unlike CV and Graphene touch) 2nd gen although it’s a great racket and lots of people love it, it feels more like a pure drive with better control(which imo is a true 98 pure drive, hate the pure drive VS, huge disappointment) I can see why Dominic Thiem skip the p17 and switched to this 3rd gen because it is more close to the 1st gen. Not as precise as the 1st gen (imo 1st gen pure strike is probably the best combination of spin and control) compare to 1st gen, 3rd gen is more comfortable, more stable, more powerful and slightly more spin, but less control and feedback. A little bit too powerful and muted for me though. Great racket for baseline game, but when I come into the court I don’t feel as confident. Will keep testing it for sure and see if I want another string combination. Strung with my go to setup: Solinco tour bite @50 lbs.
