Yes, it's an incredible stat. 12-0 in FO finals. Sampras went 7-0 in Wimbledon finals which I think is another incredible stat because it was in the era of fast grass.

I don't think either of these records will be beaten this century. 12-0 may not be broken ever o_O

Nadal has only lost twice there! Once in 2009 and once in 2015; that's it.
I think the 4 hour Madrid SF took a lot out of him along with his parents' divorce at the time.
2015 was his worst season ever. He was losing everything against everyone. He even got blown out by Murray in the Madrid 2015 final, winning only 5 games which showed how much Nadal had fallen.

Man, just 2 losses there and you find an excuse for both ? Nobody is unbeatable, not even Nadal at RG.I get it that 2015 was his worst year but you should give credit to Soderling at least, although Novak deserves it too.Madrid 09 has nothing to do with it, remember that in the same year he played 2 long matches SF +F at the AO and still won the title.Divorce ? Every pro has personal issues at some point.

I always find these quotes funny. Do you really think we will be here on earth in 100 years? Or even playing tennis? At the FO on clay? But yes, it will not be broken as long as tennis is in this current format. But 50 years from now (if we are still here and playing tennis), the format will be so different people will be saying things like... "No one will ever win the Africa slam 15 times in a row again."

Omala ... if I say this earth will at least last another 1000 years, are you going to ask me of I will be here to ensure I spoke the truth? Otha!

True. But it's interesting that both Nadal and Djokovic were eliminated in RG2009 in the 3rd and 4th rounds respectively. Djokovic was straight setted by Kohlschribber. Even more interesting is that both Nadal and Djokovic were meeting in almost every clay final leading up to RG including Monte Carlo, Rome and Madrid. They surely must've been on fumes by RG.

Look, if you are trying to get a free ride on my rocket (currently building it), you have to show your worth. I have several planets in which we can settle on. Clay fans will have the desert planet (Terrafa). But tennis will look different on these planets.

LOL!

I must admit I've always had a fascination for space movies. Interstellar is my favorite. I also want to go watch Ad Astra which is playing in the theaters now.

Interesting, but was a tad of a let down in the story department. Plus, the science of it was a pretty laughable at times.

That's what I thought as well upon seeing Interstellar for the first time but I read later that many in the scientific community spoke highly of the movie.

Nadal’s record of FO that will last for a thousand of years or possibly for eternity unless someone will come along and break it, in my opinion, not likely.

Prime Novak may have beaten him at RG given enough chances but suggesting he deserves much credit for beating 'nadal' in 15 is laughable.

Soderling deserves more credit than Novak's win but he'd never duplicate in 10 more tries IMV so there was some good fortune in terms of timing.

Well, I think everybody knew that but thanks for the info anyway.

Needless to say that’s a ridiculously impressive achievement, probably the GOAT tennis feat.
