Today is a weird day at casa ILC...Had another car dream last night...this time it broke down on the Beltway (a high speed highway that circles DC) and I adandoned it...arggggg. We are close to the 3 inches of rain promised by the noreaster...thank heavens it's not snow...my sympathies to those of you north of us where you're getting hammered by snow again! We're supposed to get more rain and very high winds tomorrow. It's ok, had no plans outside of the house today..just planning on what to take on my trip..doing some house work etc. My poor kitty isn't feeling too well today. She went outside in a sheltered area and ate some grass. I went downstairs to clean her litter box and left the door opened so she could come back in when she was ready. I heard a very mournful "oooooerrrrrroooooowwww" and ran upstairs to find Winnie barfing...my poor baby. I gave her some fresh dry food and took away the old wet food...gave her a little saucer of milk and babied her for a bit. She hopped in my lap and gave me a few of her little voiced meows and leopard purrs so I think she's better....am just worried every time she acts funny...you know...worried about that horrible business with tainted pet food, although she doesn't eat those brands...you never know what new brands will be announced. All pet owners know how the helpless feeling when our babies are sick.
Anyway, enough of my rambling...CC, hope you don't have too bad a hangover..Peter..be proud...Volty..keep stringing...SF...give Bogart a big hug and kiss and everyone....carry on
