Thiem: "this is the biggest match of my life"

RG: am I a joke to you?
To be fair, he actually has a chance to win today ;)

Quality returning that I've come to expect from the tour these days.

Edit: there we go, only took 12 points for the returner to win one

Tsitsipas has hella impressed me this week. I've been on and off with him and his attitude but he's been awesome here, smart movement and shots and still so young. Really hope he does well in his career and irons out his slightly iffy attitude.

TsiTsipas will never win a slam. Not until the big 3 retire. And provided there is no other great player. Even then it might be unlikely.

It still seems to me that only Medvedev is the potential next gen that can win multiple slams. Thiem can maybe win french. That is about it.

Guys like TsiTsipas would be beaten by the likes of Djokovic/Nadal even when the latter are 40.

Lack of talent is shocking. If you see Federer, Nadal and Djoker in their primes, compared to that these guys seem like ball boys. I fear for the future of the game.

Look at this match thread. Just 2 pages. If Fedalovic were there it would be 20 plus pages. We desperately need a young great player otherwise the sport will die once the big 3 retire.

And yeah I know Stefanos beat Fed. But that is a Fed who is ancient and almost 10 years past his prime. Vs a prime Fed the current TsiTsipas would barely get games forget about sets.

I'm no fan at all, but have to agree with everything you say. He's handled himself very well this week, all credit to him.

Naw man. You are totally underestimating this guy. He will win multiple.

Fully agree. Have they changed policy on this? Do the umpires even have meetings do discuss and decide..

I am also annoyed with how some umpires wait until the crowd has silenced completely before announcing the score and starting the shot clock...

Really bad miss. With how hard Dominic hits, he could've put that literally anywhere in the court and Tsitsipas wouldn't have put it back in play.
