And those are the only losses in record this year. All were on the road, against BOS, MIL, LAC, DAL.
All of them are in Top 4 in their conference. I don't see any weakness here.
Besides they beat the LAL in their home with 2 key players out.
They are ranked 6th in ESPN's power index which is computer generated based on results.
But you said they can beat any team. The record shows they are 1-4 vs teams with winning records.

If they can beat league leading LAL at their home without Lowry&Ibaka, can they not?
We will see how they will do against Boston, MIL and Philly in Toronto.
Don’t get me wrong, I like their chances to be a top 4 seed in the EC and believe in the Nurse effect to overcome the injury factor to nurse them to an admirable 11-4 record so far but they are not quite as good as the power rankings suggest due to their soft schedule early on. LAL, LAC, Denver, Dallas and Utah from the WC are all more impressive and would beat them in a NBA Finals. That’s if they can get past Philly/Milwaukee/Boston in the EC. Top 10 in the association, yes. Repeat champions, no way.

Giannis goes 50/14/6 as host Milwaukee edges Utah 122-118.

I wonder if these guys see each other’s stat lines and have to outdo each other. Giannis wants my best U-25 crown!

I don't believe they can repeat either but beating Philly and holding Embiid to 0 points with Lowry/Ibaka out tonight alone was a real joy.
Getting the home court for the playoffs in the East will be success for them.
NBA is usually very predictable. I expect a LAL vs MIL final this year.

Take that prediction to the bank. The only way the NBA doesn’t make their marquee final matchup happen is if Giannis, LeBron, or AD gets a serious injury.

My friend had a 7 team parlay with a very nice payout if the Ravens and Sixers won. Sixers bottled it and Embiid put up goose egg points. He is...upset to say the least.

The IG Hero blanked and the two biggest men on the court combined for 3 points with Gasol hitting a single trey.

Raptors now 2-4 vs .500 teams.

I think Raptors' defense and coach is still a bit underrated.
Embiid scored 0 points 1st time in his career, Dame was held to single digits 1st time in 3 years, Lebron could score only 13 points against them and Kawhi only had 12.

Mavericks starters take their rest with a minute left in the first quarter and down by three. By reentry, LAC led by 16 on the way to the 15-point win. Doncic was 4/14 for 22/8/6.
Mavs schooled by the Clips. It looks like the West finals will be played in LA. I guess this is what the media and most people want.

Harden puts up 60/3/8 3 steals 1 block on 16/24 shooting 8/14 from 3 20/23 from the line in 31 mins. That has to be one of the most efficient 60+ point outings ever

Has it been the biggest score of the "Beard" in his career?

No Luka love after taking down the LeBronskis in LA? I am shock and disappoint!
Also his defense never gets any credit.
7 points in the 1st half but he was a patient assassin. He's learning how to win.

He's behind Milwaukee freak in PER by a hair distance. At 20, he already looks like a better player than the Beard.

Luka Doncic’s number 1 fan is slacking. 15 point 10 rebound quarter last night. Finished with 33/18/5 in a blowout win over the Pelicans

Drummond had another monster night. 14/17/4 5 steals 4 blocks in 3 quarters in a blow out

Harden posted another 50 point night and Westbrook chipped in 19/10/10. Wasn’t enough as the Rockets fell to the Spurs in double OT

Load Management had an off night (maybe too tired, not enough rest) but PG Harrell and Patterson did the heavy lifting to shut down Portland. The other LA team won in mile high. AD and Lebron each posted 25 points on 9/18 shooting.

Rockets lost this one due to excessive whine...when The Beard’s dunk was disallowed, D’Antoni did not challenge within 30 seconds.

Also <3 the heckler/Beard exchange on one of Harden’s parade to the stripe (24/24):

Heckler: “Nobody wants to watch a FT shooting contest!”

Harden: “Nobody wants to see so many fouls!”

The Magic crack the century mark in three quarters!!! Second game in a row and all while Vukevic nurses a bad ankle. 103-86 after three vs visiting Phoenix.

Yesterday’s news. I like Aaron Gordon’s 32/5/5 on 13/15 with 5/5 treys betterer. Magic 128-114.
Gordon > Doncic
32/5/5 > 22/7/6
Off night from Luka but Dallas manages to come back from 11 down in the third to beat the Wolves and 1st time since 2011, they won 9 of last 10.

Rondo leads Lakers in minutes tonight and puts up 14 pts and 12 assists (to match LBJ's 12 dimes), and finishes only one board shy of a triple double, along with team-best +25 plus/minus.
Dwight puts up +19 plus/minus in only 19 minutes. These old cast-off dudes playing D again like their NBA All-Defensive First Team days.

Gotta wonder how much Metamucil will be consumed in the LeBronskis locker room come playoff time when Unibrow, KCP, Caruso and Kuzma are the only big minutes players under 30. I like LAC in the second season with their blend of depth and relative youth.

I have a different take. I think the Lakers have been coasting through first halves of games this season and only turning on the D when they need to in clutch time. They clearly have another gear that they can use when needed. If both AD and LeBron are at least 90% health come playoff time, it won’t matter what the Clippers can do, and I’d expect Lakers to take the Western conference finals over the Clips in 5.

Based on injury history, Load Manager and PG are more fragile than LeBron and AD. It wouldn’t surprise me if PG goes down with a knee or shoulder injury in the first round of the playoffs, precipitating a Clips flame-out in the second round against a high-altitude team like Denver.

Portland looked good tonight with Melo integrating into the scoring triangle with Dame and McCollum. They’ve lacked a reliable third wheel since letting go of Alridge. Tonight’s line was 77/13/14 for the trio and newbie Blazer Whiteside was the inside presence they have lacked after the Nurkic injury, getting another 22/16/7 from him to defeat visiting Sacto 127-116. Look for them to move back in the playoff picture, just two games back of #8 Phoenix.

LAC just won by 20 over improving Portland on Tuesday overcoming Leonard and Sweet Lou combining for a pathetic 7/29 but with depth to absorb those off nights. They are doing this without Shamet in the starting lineup because they’ve got great role players like Montrezl Harrell and Patrick Patterson. In that win vs PTB the duo combined for 45/17/3 in a combined 54 minutes. I envy The Doc for the easy job he has to plug in so many guys that can ball anytime he calls their number.

It looks like Houston will survive another Russell Brickbrook performance (7/27 with a minute left and a tripdub 19/13/11 while trying for the quaddub with 8 Sara Lee’s) vs beat-the-tomato-cans Raptors. Tonight it wasn’t BeardMagic to the rescue...Harden had 3 points on one shot in the first quarter. Ben McLemore led the Rockets with 28.

Raptors dbl'd Harden? All game, Rockets fired 55 treys?

Only 5 attempts by The Beard (3/5 and only 6/6 FTA). Maybe fans got to see a game instead of a parade to the stripe!
Missed the game. It was live on NBA TV. The summary by the analysts was that the Raptors dbl'd Harden. Won that battle, lost the war and game. At least no one scored over 150 pts.

SRS ratings news:

The #1 team (Bucks +11.86) has been so dominant in past several games that they have opened a wider SRS gap over #2 than the gap between teams #2 (Lakers +8.17) and #8 (Heat +4.84).

February 24th and March 2nd mark your calendars. Harden plays the no defense Knicks. He’s gonna have a good shot at breaking Kobe’s 81 modern day scoring record
