The final at AO 2020 you would wish to take place/want to happen the most

Vote Here friends, which is the final you'd prefer the most??

It is the 1st slam of 2020s and probably the most hyped due to multiple factors, given below.

1) Fedal slam race is the closest it could be
2) Djokovic's form in question, though it remains to watch if he's able to defend his fortress yet again
3) Massive improvements in the forms of Nextgen players such as Tsitsipas, Medvedev and midgen such as Dominic Thiem who has improved his HC game a lot.
4) Federer being arguably in a better form coming into Ao2020 than he was at the same stage a year before, plus imo it's the last realistic chance for the swiss to win a HC slam.
5) Big3 inevitably dropping the Guard, yet AO (& Wim) are their strongest fortresses
6) New Surface
7) Emerging rivalries between youngsters

(Edit) ONLY REALISTICALLY POSSIBLE Options are in the poll. A maximum of 3 votes are allowed
Do vote.
Kindly provide the reasons why you want the specified option.
Thank you.

My top3 picks

1) Federer vs Nadal (pure intense drama, history on the line once again)
2) Djokovic vs Thiem (mind boggling tennis quality, super ballstriking and defense if both are on)
3) Nextgen vs Nextgen/Thiem (probably the best for the future of men's tennis)

I would argue about 5th point. Big 3 strongest outpost is RG, as one of NextGens most likely will have to complete the hardest task in modern sports to win it. Not the case with other Slemz.

For the final I’d choose Nadal vs Thiem for the pure chemistry of their playing styles. Their only hard court match was one of the best BO5 experiences of the decade.

If not including my favorite player, Djokovic vs Thiem should also be a match of insane quality.

The biggest wish is to see Rafa beat Novak or Fed in the final set super tiebreak. Tennis fans admire another epic battle while impatiently waiting for Roland Garros.

But honestly I would be fine with any match up. I like what Medvedev, Thiem and Tsitsipas showed at times this year while Big 3 will always be very attractive options.

That is just Nadal's strongest outpost. I'm taking big3 as whole, i.e. all 3 being top force
Combiningly, Big3 at AO are much better than at RG

I'm not sure of your "good" experience in a match where Nadal was bageled, physically broken & out for a long time, lost a big opportunity.
The tennis quality was insane though, discounting Thiem's choke in 3rd and Rafa's in 4th.

Yes. :D

I would look forward to any final featuring Novak (ok, maybe except if it was against Medvedev). His destructions of Fedal down under were enjoyable, while there is need for revenge on Thiem.
Out of all the options, Joker vs Tim will produce the best match in terms of tennis quality if both of them can truly bring the best they can at the occasion

What did you vote for, though??

I love this match. As Rafa says, what happened happened, and US Open 2018 was a missed opportunity not because of Thiem, or this match in general, but because of ridiculous draw, where from R3 onwards, EVERY opponent was GOATing. Nothing you can do about such circumstances.

Guess he deserved it for playing passive
