Go to CC, turn it on, then Settings next to it, and you can turn on auto-translate to the language of your choice...but it's pretty rough, at least in English.

I would say that the majority of us here like watching the fukky videos even without having a clue as to what they're saying.
Most of the guys they get to hit the Yonex racquets are really good players. Their reactions are always very entertaining also.

VDM sounds like a good, simple addition. I haven't directly experienced it, but seems like a solid, simple fix for vibration issues...though "muted" seems to be becoming a dirty word around here.
Just curious: what was the context of the RQ-180 reference in the video? Around the 2:11 mark.

That is great news to hear VDM will be added. I didn’t think that was the case based on the Tennisnerd review stating the handle was hollow. Can anyone else comment on this?

Pretty sure VDM just wraps around the outside the handle, under the grip, like a shrink wrap sleeve would, not inside the handle.

EZONE because it's like RQ180. In my pro career I used RQ180 because it had not only power but also great spin which was produced by unique ' grasp ' feeling. New EZONE is powerful and soft, so that reminds me the ' grasp ' feeling.

My local pro shop had the two prototypes for people to try (in store only), and I got to hit with the 98 on a ball machine for a few minutes. It felt very solid, but I need more time. I can see how this might become a future ownership demo, as I've been demo'ing the DR 98 for about 3 years now. 
Also, consistent with what others have said, I was told the new Ezones will be available for purchase on January 16th.

My guess is we'll know final specs in mid-January when we can also purchase the racquet.

Well.. Not that it matters but I am def changing out my dr98s for them. I skipped the ezone line that's outgoing although I did try them. I also know a decent percentage of Dr pros will switch and as for the 100 nearly every wta girl I have spoken to (at least 6) is making the switch..

Interesting, could you elaborate on that? You think the comfort/other specs look good enough on paper? We are in an identical situation. Skipped the current ezone and now we are having trouble hunting down blue DRs for my son (4 1/8 grip) and are on the fence about switching.

It’s really sad to see the colors are primarily blue based. Being primarily black with colored ascents gave the racquet such a nice pop. Will still buy nonetheless, hopefully there is a special edition that is blacked out.
He doesn't like Yonex racquets in general (VCore 98, VCore Pro etc.) plus he is not into tweeners so why should he like them?
I would trust TW reviewers 100x more especially there were Troy and Brittany in the vid. They use previous versions so they are best indicators.

Does anyone know more about the new material, M40x in the racquet? I see it's used in their badminton racquets. Per the badminton descriptions:

Perhaps that takes place of the Hyper-MG? I'm not sure anyone truly liked that in the upper hoop of the current EZONEs.

So it's supposed to be strong yet flexible for power and comfort.
Also, saw the PJ, it's very DR inspired with about the same color ratios as the outgoing Ezone.
Honestly if it's more responsive than the DR I would even be more willing to try it. DR was kinda dead to my arms and I am not a big fan of how it feels in my hands.
And I also prefer if the head shape is more square-ish like the Yonex of the bygone days. Or the current Ezone.

Geometries are the same as the current generation, as far as I can tell from pics. Stats look to be the same, too. But the new M40x material will change the feel.

I used this racquet yesterday and really loved it.
My takeaways compared to current ezone 98...
Very forgiving comparatively, no jarring in upper hoop.
Sweet spot seems larger.
Easier access to spin.
Retains accuracy.
Serve was decent, but wasn't able to hit top pace.
Apart from the serve I think this racquet is an improvement in every way.
I currently use ezone 98, poly tour pro 1.25 strung at 58.

I personally use a small amount of lead tape at 3 and 9. Didn't have tape on 2020 and stability and plough were still better.

No factual data to backup my supposition, but they've dropped that naming convention with the VCore lineup, so there's VCore and VCore Pro. Wonder if, over time there'll be an EZone Pro in addition to the plain EZone?
