There's an option to auto generated subtitles. It's not perfect but you get the idea of what they are sayingSo you think everyone here understand japanese?
Sorry znak. Only auto generatrd caption(JAPANESE)There's an option to auto generated subtitles. It's not perfect but you get the idea of what they are saying
Ask @sleepyeg, he shared a non tw link. He should have the full translated text, by the seconds. In the early part, they reference the RQ-180, but even with on-the-fly translation, couldn't glean much from that. Context, anyone?

Go to CC, turn it on, then Settings next to it, and you can turn on auto-translate to the language of your choice...but it's pretty rough, at least in English.
I would say that the majority of us here like watching the fukky videos even without having a clue as to what they're saying. So you think everyone here understand japanese?
i think fukky means the same as English word with an "c" in it. You dont need to understand the rest of the Japanese. lol lol lolI would say that the majority of us here like watching the fukky videos even without having a clue as to what they're saying.
Most of the guys they get to hit the Yonex racquets are really good players. Their reactions are always very entertaining also.
OH? Namd was previously used in VCORE racquets only... Thanks for the summary/translation, too!I'm Japanese so I understand full of fukky videos. He just says new ezone is softer than current model especially around hoop and still has powerful frame. I guess it's because of Namd around hoop and the character is near to DR rather than current ezone.
You are welcome and actually Namd is used in VCORE PRO's throat, VCORE's lower hoop and new REGNA's whole body. then I expect new Ezone will have Namd somewhere in hoop... but it's not sure. Also VDM shoud be in grip like new VCORE PRO.

That is great news to hear VDM will be added. I didn’t think that was the case based on the Tennisnerd review stating the handle was hollow. Can anyone else comment on this?
VDM sounds like a good, simple addition. I haven't directly experienced it, but seems like a solid, simple fix for vibration issues...though "muted" seems to be becoming a dirty word around here.
Just curious: what was the context of the RQ-180 reference in the video? Around the 2:11 mark.
According to @downs_chris, no.Any chance on a 98" XL version?
My guess is we'll know final specs in mid-January when we can also purchase the racquet. Some news about this new ezone ? (Test, feeling, Final paint job, etc...) ?
He doesn't like Yonex racquets in general (VCore 98, VCore Pro etc.) plus he is not into tweeners so why should he like them?Tennisnerd did a review and wasn't impressed with them, he seems happy to switch at an alarming rate too so that's a tad disappointing!
So it's supposed to be strong yet flexible for power and comfort.Does anyone know more about the new material, M40x in the racquet? I see it's used in their badminton racquets. Per the badminton descriptions:
TORAYCA® M40X*, ... a stable yet highly repulsive head shape.
Perhaps that takes place of the Hyper-MG? I'm not sure anyone truly liked that in the upper hoop of the current EZONEs.
Geometries are the same as the current generation, as far as I can tell from pics. Stats look to be the same, too. But the new M40x material will change the feel.Honestly if it's more responsive than the DR I would even be more willing to try it. DR was kinda dead to my arms and I am not a big fan of how it feels in my hands.
And I also prefer if the head shape is more square-ish like the Yonex of the bygone days. Or the current Ezone.
There is, in may and because I am Jster....and now for the bad news...
According to that same rep (because I asked @downs_chris), no '+' versions! Boooo!
It looks like DR just dark/light blue.So it's supposed to be strong yet flexible for power and comfort.
Also, saw the PJ, it's very DR inspired with about the same color ratios as the outgoing Ezone.
If true, that's good news. I tagged @downs_chris because he had spoken w/ the rep in our area, and was told there would be no + versions (people here have a tendency to ask "what's your source?"...and rightly so.)There is, in march and because I am Jster.

do you guys have any Pictures of this new Ezone that is coming ?I know for sure they're going to drop around the AO time period. Does anyone have any ideas on what color they will be? Any specs as well? I will update as I keep learning more about the racket.
Well that is all good to hear!I used this racquet yesterday and really loved it.
My takeaways compared to current ezone 98...
Very forgiving comparatively, no jarring in upper hoop.
Sweet spot seems larger.
Easier access to spin.
Retains accuracy.
Serve was decent, but wasn't able to hit top pace.
Apart from the serve I think this racquet is an improvement in every way.
I currently use ezone 98, poly tour pro 1.25 strung at 58.
I personally use a small amount of lead tape at 3 and 9. Didn't have tape on 2020 and stability and plough were still better.Well that is all good to hear!
Do most of the ezone 98 users out there currently add weight to the hoop? Just curious.
I do not. I play it in stock form.Well that is all good to hear!

photo link is dead. can anyone post a picture of this ?Naomi Osaka posted a picture with the new Ezone.
no. I play the stock form. not even an overgrip. why do you want to add weight to the hoop ?Well that is all good to hear!

Does anyone know if there is an acronym following the new EZONE's name? Or have they stopped that practice?
