Bull. Media bias in this case is a myth, but what is not are the attacks on Gauff, with some barking that she's overrated and is not so "great.". But of course, other players with no majors are often hyped to the stars around here and that's fine.

Lets not diminish that. One major is a HUGE accomplishment that most pro/elite athletes never achieve.

My point is that Thundervolley is being hypocritical on the matter saying how great the WTA tour is because they have so many major winners and now says 1-major winners are overrated. TV is just sore because of constantly complaining that Andreescu was overrated hereabouts but then Andreescu went on to win the U.S. Open as some of us predicted. In any case, winning 1 major is a huge accomplishment, but in and of itself does not make one a great player, e.g., Jausovec, Ostapenko, Pennetta, Ruzici, Schiavone, etc.

Kenin is also making her more undisciplined, so to speak. By returning shot after shot, making the points longer and making Jabeur move more, she has been able to stop her from being that shotmaker you mentioned.
But that slice passing shot was a beauty, no doubt about that.
